Before this story starts, i should probably introduce myself. Hello, i am this stories narrater. Of course, i don't have a name (i don't think most narraters do, unless the auther is a weird person.) but i want one, so for story purposes, call me... JP. Anyways, back to the story itself.
Maple was a normal school girl, she had a loving family, kind classmates- everything. And, she had a boyfriend. His name was Matthew, a boy a year above her. This was seen as a sorta big deal as she was in Year 8 and he was in Year 9. Matthew (or Matt) was the leader of the schools basketball team and in top set of his year in all subjects. Maple was on the schools girl's football team and top set in everything except Maths and Science-she was in middle set for those two subjects. Everyone wished to be them. "The Dream Couple" was their nickname, as they acted perfect.
"Babe, what's wrong?" Asked Matthew, his voice soft and gentle (gross).
Maple groaned and sank her head into his chest. A smile grew on Matt's face, his hand rubbing her head to comfort her. She looked up, her eyes nothing more but slits.
"Do NOT touch me." She snapped, getting off of him and sitting on the table behind her.
Matt looked confused, what was up with her today? (I know...stop being nosy!) Maple looked right into Matts eyes and he tensed up, a shiver slowly crawling down his spine. No matter where he looked, Maple's emarlad eyes followed his.
"Stop trying to avoid the problem!" She hopped off the table. "You know what i am trying to talk to you about yet you act as if nothing happened!"
Matt, once again was confused.
"What happened? Did the football team disassemble again?" He questioned, concern in his voice.
Anger brewed in Maple's eyes, almost as if they were going to turn red.
"Oh, so you act dumb now? Well, i can see through you and i know that you know EXACLY what i'm talking about."
The boy raised an eyebrow.
"The accident... The "Slam-Dunked" tragity. Ring any bells for ya?"
Matt's blue eyes widened. The memory of his kast basketball game suddenly rushed back to him. The dodgy hoop, him saying it was fine.
Him telling his fellow player, Jeffery Bones, to-
"GO FOR A SLAM-DUNK JEFFERY!"
