**POV: Naomi**

It was 10:00 am, and I was so freaking bored. My bestie Myesha was usually my go-to person for hanging out, but since my parents moved to Canada, she wasn't around anymore. I'm 22 years old, and I found myself with too much time on my hands.

I decided to text Myesha, hoping to catch up:Me: heyyyy! wassup?Myesha: hi, I'm busy I can I call or text you later???Me: oh ok:(Myesha: OK bye:(

I couldn't believe it. Myesha was always busy lately. Feeling a bit down, I thought a walk to the park might lift my spirits. As I strolled along, everything seemed ordinary until I noticed a guy in a frog costume filming something. It wasn't even close to Halloween.

Then out of nowhere, he approached me with a grin, saying, "Hi, I'm Froggy Ben."

"Hey, I'm Naomi," I responded, trying not to blush. He was surprisingly cute, considering the odd outfit.

Ben asked if I wanted to be in his video, and I thought, why not?

We filmed together, and afterwards, he asked me to follow him on social media. We chatted about all sorts of online stuff as

we walked, until he stopped and said, "Naomi, I've got to go. Can I have your number, please?"

I agreed, thinking it couldn't hurt to stay in touch with someone who'd managed to turn my boring day around.

As we exchanged numbers, Ben flashed me a charming smile that sent a flutter through my chest. "So, Naomi, do you have any plans for the rest of the day?" he asked, his voice carrying a hint of excitement.

I shook my head, feeling a rush of anticipation at the thought of continuing our conversation.

"Not really," I replied with a smile. "I was just going to wander around the park for a bit."

"Well, how about this? Instead of wandering alone, how about we wander together?" Ben suggested, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

I couldn't help but laugh at his playful tone. "Sure, why not?" I said, already feeling a sense of camaraderie forming between us.

And so, we spent the rest of the day exploring the park, exchanging stories and laughter as we walked. Ben had a way of making even the simplest moments feel special, and before I knew it, I found myself completely at ease in his presence.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the park, Ben turned to me with a mischievous grin. "So, Naomi, what's your favorite movie of all time?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.

I paused for a moment, considering my answer. "Hmm, that's a tough one," I replied, pretending to ponder the question. "But if I had to choose, I'd say 'The Princess Bride.' It's a classic."

Ben's eyes lit up with excitement. "No way, I love 'The Princess Bride'!" he exclaimed, a grin spreading across his face. "It's got everything—adventure, romance, humor. It's practically perfect."

And just like that, we launched into a spirited discussion about our favorite movies, trading quotes and anecdotes with ease. It felt like we had known each other for years, not just a few hours.

As the day drew to a close, Ben hesitated for a moment before turning to me with a soft smile. "Naomi, I had a really great time today," he said, his voice warm with sincerity. "I hope we can do it again sometime."

I smiled back, feeling a warmth spreading through my chest. "Me too," I replied, unable to suppress the butterflies that had taken up residence in my stomach.

And with that, we exchanged numbers, sealing our newfound connection with a promise of more adventures to come. Little did I know, those late-night texts and playful conversations were just the beginning of something truly special between us.
