Date Night

You giggle with joy as you flop onto your bed, your friend Joseph Quinn just asked you out on a date and you couldn't be more bashful. You kick your feet as you think about what you'll wear yes, it was corny but you've always had a crush on your bubbly friend and couldn't pluck the courage to ask him.

So when he sweetly asked if you wanted to go on a proper date you were so happy to find out he has the same feelings for you, you roll off your bed landing onto your feet. Happily skipping to your closet as you had finally made your decision on what you'll be wearing, getting ready was filled with giggles and romantic music playing- getting all excited for your date the man of your dreams. You sprayed the best perfume you owned and made sure you looked presentable, sipping a glass of wine as you wait for his car to pull up at the driveway.

Meanwhile...

Joseph rush's through his closet, a nervous wreck. You were the most amazing person he has ever met and he didn't want to screw it up... but none of the suits really screamed romance, he was out of breath when he found the perfect suit; red with black details and golden accents. He quickly sprayed the closest body spray and rushed for the door, stoping to glance at the mirror making sure his hair is nice and styled.

His palms were sweaty as he held tight onto the steering wheel as the radio played softly in the background, he's mother always taught him to be on time when it comes to picking up a date but he was running 2 minutes late... he felt awful. He finally pulled up to the driveway, doing the stereotypical checking his breath before ringing the door bell. He heard the clicking of your shoes walking from the kitchen to the front door, a goofy smile rose onto his face as you opened the door. You were beautiful... stunning, your skin glowed and the colour of your outfit gave a warm embrace as it worked wonders with your eye colour.

" hey" you say as you try to hold back the blush that was being painted on your cheeks, the suit was perfect for him.

He holds your hand as you make your way to the car, opening the door for you as peacefully sit onto the leather seat. The car started and the radio kicked over, the peaceful sound of music added more affect to the certain situation. You made small talk, the usual stuff work, roles and if the restaurant is any good.

Yes, you guys have been friend for almost 3 years but when you go on a romantic date it can be a bit of a change, it wasn't awkward- it was comfortable and different to the joking around and acting like children friendship you guys had. It was more romantic and adult, like a scene from a movie... you guys joked around once and a while. It was a great start to the date.

" sorry I was 2 minutes late" Joseph nervously laugh, glancing towards you but still paying attention to the road.

" it's fine, don't worry about" you reassured him, giving him the most beautiful smile. His heart felt warm and could feel the butterflies fluttering in his stomach- he was falling hard.

Once you arrived at the restaurant you gasped, it was amazing- expensive but breathtaking. It had a floral pattens and soft pastels it looked like you stepped into an old renaissance painting, romantic in every way.

( time skip to after your meal )

The restaurant was more like a mansion, having a garden which was open to the public. You and Joseph Quinn was walking through the rose filled greenery, the sun setting as the soft noise of other couples having their on little conversations.

" the food was amazing" you as you lock eyes with Joseph.

" I'm glad.." he says returning the favour, then a idea popped into his mind.

Joseph picked you up bridal style, you were shocked at first then started to giggle. Then his lips met yours they were soft and tasted like wine and mint, you didn't want it to end... but sadly you had to stop for air. It was a beautiful night... and let's just say, you'll definitely be having a second date.
