Snezhnaya's climate is even more extreme than you would've imagined. But even if there is little to no warmth outside, the streets are extremely lively. The fatui is the only thing you know that is from Snezhnaya, but seeing the little children play oh so happily outside somehow makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The warm hand of the doctor in yours and the cold thought of how the meeting the other harbingers made you feel emotions that couldn't be described with a thousand words. Maybe uncomfortable was the right way to express it? No, that's not it. Exited? Nope, that's not it either. At least you can kill the time until you reach your destination by coming up with different words and expressions to describe your way of feeling.
Your hands start to feel numb as the carriage arrives at a large building at the foot of a mountain.
"Let's get inside. We should unpack our bags before we do anything else. Oh and hurry it up if you want to take a shower or bath today. We can't allow ourselves to go to bed late as we need to get up early." Dottore spoke with his usual manic grin plastered on his face. He hasn't changed a bit since you first saw him. Yet you still took a liking to him. God knows why-

The inside of the building is incredibly majestic. Decorations all over the place, pretty paintings on the wall, vases with flowers in them. In front of you, you see two stairs. One to the left, one to the right which both lead to the first floor. I guess the architect took symmetry a little too serious. To your left, you see a fireplace and a few couches making the place feel more welcoming and comfortable.

You were told by Dottore to follow a butler to your room as he had something to take care of. But at least he promised to talk to you as soon as he was done!

Seconds passed.
Minutes passed.
Hours passed by.
And no Dottore in sight.

You were starting to feel sad. What if he was so busy he'd just forgotten about you? No, he wouldn't just forget about you, right? He 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 you.

Well, you decided to look for him yourself. There's nothing wrong with that, right? Oh god if you had known before...

As you were trying to find your way through the long, rather dark corridors, you've noticed a few stares from a few fatui members and maids. But that's alright, you're basically a stranger to them, right?

After a 15 minute walk through that maze called a house, you're staring to wonder wether you managed to get lost in here or not.

But then you hear those voices..

"So is that your new pet?"
"Watch your mouth, Puppet. You're no more than an experiment either."

Pet? Puppet? Experiment? What are those people talking about?

"Ah, look at that. You're getting so defensive over your so called 'specimen'. Is there something that you're not telling us. You know that would cost you your status. Or perhaps, your life?"

Wait what?

"Mind your own business. You've got a job to finish, after all. If that is all you wanted to tell me, you might as well leave."

Before you could hear another word, someone appeared from behind the corner you were just hiding behind.
A rather short man (or maybe he was just a boy???) with dark hair, a big hat which was definetly useful for keeping someone's personal space and shoes that probably made him 2 times taller than he actually is. Well, seems like he has something to compensate-

As soon as his eyes met yours, he gave you nothing more than an amused smirk with a slight trace of arrogance.

Right behind him was -who would've guessed- the doctor.
He seemed suprised to see you. Or maybe he wasn't. You would've been able to tell if there wasn't a mask covering most of his face.

"Oh? Didn't i tell you not to leave? You need to listen." He instructed with a tone of passive aggression which was rather unusual for him.

"Well uhm- I don't think you told me. At least i don't remember-"

"You're terrible at lying."
And with that, your conversation ended.
He seemed off. Maybe you weren't supposed to hear that. Oopsie-
