I looked up to see him because obviously ya girl is short. God he was even more handsome up close.

"Hi I'm Haley, how can I help you?" I said with a smile on my face.

"Uh your friend Bethany said I should come and introduce myself." I rolled my eyes. Why would she make him do that.

"I'm sorry she can be a bit much sometimes. As much as I want to continue this conversation I really have to get back to work bye."

"Bye." He gave me a smile and a wave.

I walked away to do my work. I saw him and his friend talking to Bethany she was such a flirt I couldn't help but giggle I love her so much. Her and Jed's friend exchanged numbers. They ate what they ordered and they soon left.

I looked at the time and it was almost time for me to clock out. I was finishing cleaning the remaining tables and I walked to the back to finally clock out. As I was about to walk out the door Bethany stopped me.

"Hey do you have any plans today?" she asked with a big smile on her face.

"Yes I do actually."

"LAYING DOWN ON YOUR BED WATCHING TIK TOKS ON A FRIDAY NIGHT IS NOT HAVING PLANS! I got us some dates to go to the club tonight."

"I would love to go but I rather just stay home and watch movies." I kinda didn't wanna go out but I knew that was my depression kicking in.

"I'm coming by at 8 so we can get ready together bye bitch." I have no choice but to go out someone cue the worlds smallest violin music from SpongeBob.

I finally got home and I still had to cook my dinner before I went out cause ain't no way I'm going out on an empty stomach. I made some spaghetti just to make something quick. I served myself and ate in my living room while watching a movie. Beetlejuice to be exact.

I heard my phone ring but I was too into the movie so I ignored it but it started to ring again so I just picked it up without looking at the caller ID maybe it was Bethany.

"Someone better had died if you're calling me while I'm having my relaxing time."

"Hi sweetheart it's so nice to hear your voice again."

"I don't have time for stupid prank calls bye." I hung up and continued watching the movie, but then my fucking phone started ringing again.

"Ugh yes?" I was so annoyed at this point.

"Why did you hang up doll."

"Because I'm busy duhh."

"Woah relax I just wanna talk"

"Just call me later ."

"Yeah busy doing what?"

"Watching a movie now if you'll excuse me I have to finish watching it."

"Aren't you going to ask who this is?"

"Don't know don't care."

"What's your favorite movie?"

"Ohhhhh that's a hard one."

"That's what she said." I couldn't help but laugh, yes this is my type of humor, I also heard him chuckle.

"You have such a nice laugh."

"Thank you, wish I could say the same." he laughed which made me smile.

"Well I have to go dude my friend should almost be here." I kinda wanted to keep talking to him.

"See you later toots." he hung up.
