Chapter five. Fate

With her katana in hand Skyler moved with the grace of a bird. Bellamy moved to back her upbattle ax coming in low as she came down on the hybrid with her blade. both hunters attacked the same time causing a hybrid to block on both counts but it lost a hand and received a mighty fine cut along its abdomen. The bellow of the hybrid was loud and strong enough to push back both hunters."well someone's upset don't you think sky?" She was just about to attack when the hybrid came down knocking at katana hands. Then it made for her neck trying to crush it with it's black claws. Bellamy slammed his body into the hydirds knocking it away from Skyler, was hold her neck but recoved enought to dive roll for her katana. The hybrid was figgt with Bellamy their strength not being human they were almost evenly matched. But the hybrid had wings which made for Brllamy being tossed into a wall. He dropped his battle ax and was bleeding from the wound he gotten from one the hybrids attacks. "BELL!!" Skyler shouted at seeung her friend beaten. She had her sword and while the hybrid seemed to be floting in mid air she jumped five feet into the air come down on the hybrid with a overhand arc. The beast only saw her for a split second as she dropped pass taking it's right arm and wing. Both hit the floor one harder then the other. Seeing the hybrid go down Skyler ran over to check on Bellamy. "Hey you still alive fur face?" He opened his eyestrying to stand but could not cause the weight on his chest would not move. "Get off my chest Sky your not that lite?" She smacked him on the arm and stode up with him. They looked at tge hybrid who was crawling towards the hole it had put in the floor. There was (gaspe) and both Skyler and Bellamy turned to see Margery standing by the exit. The hybrid saw her as well and it picked up some of the broken wooden floor. With it's strength it knew nether of the two hunters could save the girl. It spoke for the frist time "say goodbye human" the wood flew across the air right pass Skyler and Bellamy hitting Margery in the gut and dropping her. Bellamy ran to check her before she hit the floor and Mr.Kelly came ba k in with Liu who both had a look of shock and dispear on their faces. "Get her to the back room theres medical tools back there!" Liu helped Bellamy carry Margery as Mr.Kelly ran ahead of them. Skyler was not standing where she once was she hax made her way to the bleeding and dying hybrid. "You think you won don't you hunttress? Well let me tell you someth....ing" it's words came short Skylers face had contortted into a mask of pure hate. She pluged her katana into the beasts heart or where it might be then she turned with a low arc of her sword and hacked off it's head. Causeing it to bounce into the near by wall. "You don't get to speak anymore beast." Skyler swang her blade and cleared the blood off her sword. She found the sheath and tgan ran to the back room as fast as she could. The door was open and Skyler saw that Mr.Kelly was doing what he did best saving her bestfriends life. Liu was standing shocked and befuddled. Bellamy was hold up on a wall. "How is you'r head Bell?" he turned so she could see he had already healed. Liu cane over to Skyler " what is going on what was that and how is Mr.Kelly healing her.....she needs a hospital now" Skyler patted Liu on the back don't worry come morning you and ther other won't even know this happened." Bellamy startes to laugh but stopped when Skyler glared at him. Before Liu could speak he was out cold on the floor from the hit Skyler give him to the back of his neck. After pulling him tot he side and seeing that Mr.Kelly had healed Margery with his book. "You knocked out Joe and Penny right?" He give a nod and went and pulled out another book this one had a rune one it that looked like a twisted clock. Skyler and Bellamy left out, they ran to the very edge of the town and seat on the railing of the old unused over pass. "You are taking this really well...seeing your pal get impaled like that." Skyler looked up at the sky and wiped a tear from her eye. "I kille that thing in anger i nearly forgot what Kelly could do....so no I am not taking this well Bell" they watched as a full glow of black and white covered the whole town and as Kelly redid the fate of the town so if anyone saw or was killed by the hybrid they would be alive now. Once the black and white lights faded Skyler and Bellamy walked back into the town. They did not always have to leave to the edge of town but they both wanted to atch for once. "Well thats done and those friends of yours re all back home." Kelly was leaning on a tree with his eyes shut. "Thanks for a wizard of time your not as evil as when we first meet" Skyler looked at Bellamy and rised an eyebrow, "I don't want o know do I ?" The two men said no at same time.
