Lane and Angel shopped in the store for Rory's birthday which was in a couple days.

"What are you getting her?"Lane asked as she held a book Rory's been asking for.

"i think i'm gonna get her this charm bracelet it's pretty."Angel said and Lane nodded. "wow it's beautiful!"Lane said and she smiled.

"$40!"Both girls shrieked.

"you know what,it's fine."Angel said and Lane laughed as she grabbed the charm bracelet and brought it to the counter.

"So Rory's told me about Tristan."Lane teased and Angel rolled her eyes.

"what about him?"Angel asked paying for the bracelet and book.

"you know."Lane said and Angel shook her head. "no,no i dont."She said and Lane rolled her eyes.

"whatever you say lover girl."Lane teased and Angel scoffed.

"Rory."Angel said sitting on the bus next to her. "Yeah?"

"want to tell me why i got an invitation to Rory Gilmores birthday party at Richard and Emily Gilmores home?"Angel asked and Rory's eyes widened.

"oh my god,can i see that?"Rory asked and Angel handed the invitation to her.

"i'm gonna take your reaction as if you didn't know."Angel said and Rory scoffed and shook her head looking at the invitation."that's wonderful."She said and the girls exited the bus.

"Happy birthday Mary."Tristan told Rory as the two girls walked into the school.Rory rolled her eyes and went to her locker.

"please tell me you told your boyfriend about my birthday and that he didn't get an invitation."Rory groaned and Angel sucked air between her teeth.

"i wish i could sorry honey,also he's not my boyfriend."Angel said and Rory laughed.

"Not yet at least."

"Happy birthday Rory i love your dress!"Angel said walking into Lorelais old room to see if Rory was finished getting ready.

"Your one to talk look at you!"Rory said and Angel laughed and hugged her handing her the present.

"Keep it,i wanna open it tomorrow where everyone i at least know is there."Rory said and Angel smiled and have her a nod
