i would recommend a green tea or pumpkin spice for the atmosphere. let's start with something spooky.~
a cold breeze played with her hair. a tall woman was standing on the roof of an old building, watching the stars. a loud sound and heavy breathing was all she heard before she crossed the line. her body made a mess on the sidewalk right next to his already dead body. those who saw what happened didn't notice the person leaving the roof, thinking this was a suicide.
in the morning, the reporter said the woman first pushed her husband and then jumped herself. he just laughed, taking a long sip from his coffee. they are all so dumb.
as she made her way to the elevator, her phone started ringing. with a deep breath, she picked it up. it was her new boss, something happened on the greenwile street. he ended the call with be careful. as if she wasn't careful all the time.
the car ride was quiet, she never really listened to the radio. parking her car next to the third lamp, her phone started ringing again. she picked it up without checking the number. hello, how can i help you? nothing. she heard nothing on the other side. hello? no response, just a deep growl. she ended the call and took her purse. she didn't have time for some stupid pranks.
her work was nothing special, just some administrative for rich people. her friend made a cake for both of them and decided to take her for lunch outside. at the end of the day, she finished everything she had planned and made her way to her car. the pastel blue mini cooper was the only car there, which wasn't surprising. everyone finished an hour ago, and she was the last to leave the building.
on her way home, she stopped to do the groceries and order a takeout. never changing her routine, she knew the delivery man will bring the food ten minutes after she gets home. with that she sat back in her car and for the first time, she turned on the radio, putting on some random channel with music. there was nothing behind it, she just wanted a change. no, this song wasn't it, she changed it again. her house was a few seconds away now, but something was different. it took her only twenty-one minutes, not her usual twenty-seven. maybe it was the music, she thought.
placing the vegetables on the table, she noticed a tall figure outside. the delivery man is soon today, too? she got to the door with money and opened it before he could knock. this wasn't a delivery man.
he was enjoying every scream, every please and stop. and he knew she will not stop asking him to just stop, to let her go. this is exactly why he loved doing it. there was something deep inside him that loved doing these things. his eyes fell on the clock. it was almost time to leave, but before that, there was one last thing he had to do. his strong arms enveloped her smaller body, holding her next to the window. it'll look like a suicide, again.
the news reporter looked at the window with a skeptical face. something about this building was not right, something about these suicides was not right. if only he knew he was next.
a/n: hope you enjoyed this short story because i definitely enjoyed writing it. harlot~
