A/N Hello guys! I'm back with a new Semantic error fanfic, this was written based on an idea from @Alekuki06 and with her help! I hope you'll like it! (',,•ω•,,)♡
Something was definitely wrong with Chu Sangwoo. Ever since he got to school, an hour after Jaeyoung because his teacher was absent, he had avoided any physical contact with the older. Jaeyoung wasn't stupid, he knew Sangwoo wasn't avoiding him by accident, it was on purpose. He was hiding something. Sangwoo had never kept something from Jaeyoung, because he is very shameless and doesn't hesitate to tell his thoughts loud and clear. But here they were, Jaeyoung had tried to hug him or kiss him, as much as he would normally if not more, and Sangwoo had dodged every single one of his moves. Jaeyoung had managed to get in one of his classes, taking the opportunity to sit beside Sangwoo to observe him more, but everything seemed normal, if it wasn't for Sangwoo looking very tired and kind of pale. Jaeyoung had tried to ask him more about it but Sangwoo avoided the question as well, saying that he was just tired from working as his exams were starting on the next week.
Right now, Jaeyoung was sitting beside Sangwoo in the French lesson, and couldn't tear his eyes away from his boyfriend. Sangwoo had red eyes, his nose was also red, as if he had been crying. His hair wasn't brushed as neatly as always, and he was definitely wearing his hoodie in-out, and by looking closer, Jaeyoung could tell it was actually his hoodie. He had tried to hold his boyfriend's hand under the table as they always do, but Sangwoo had denied it, saying he needed to take notes. But his hand was trembling and it was more than obvious that he couldn't understand a single word of what was written on the board.
And Jaeyoung swore he could hear Sangwoo's stomach grumbling. During lunch, he had barely eaten, saved for what Jaeyoung forced-fed him so that he wouldn't go to class with an empty stomach. Jaeyoung would rather have an upset Sangwoo on his arms than a hungry one. Because Sangwoo was grumpy when he was hungry, and when Sangwoo was grumpy, Jaeyoung was kiss deprived.
When he looked closer, Jaeyoung noticed that the notebook Sangwoo was using was actually his English notebook... This is the kind of mistakes Sangwoo doesn't make. Never. Sangwoo had a very precise organization for all the things related to school, and his English class wasn't even today. He would have never made this kind of mistakes if something wasn't wrong, and Jaeyoung knew something must definitely was. And this only made him more suspicious.
Jaeyoung had tried to talk to Sangwoo's classmates, his friends, not that he had that many, and all of them agreed that the boy was acting way stranger than usual. Normally, Sangwoo was neat and always participating, and focused, and he wouldn't let a single mistake going through. Now, Sangwoo was half laying on his table, struggling to keep his eyes opened, and he was for sure not listening to the lesson at all. Even worse, he had little to no reactions when the teacher made very obvious mistakes, and this was too out of character for Jaeyoung.
This had happened once before, when Jaeyoung had been sick and Sangwoo stayed up all night taking care of him. On the next day, he was half sleeping in class. He didn't directly blame Jaeyoung for this, but it was clear it was the older's fault, well, Jaeyoung needs attention, even more when he is sick, and if the attention comes from Sangwoo, then it's even better. Ever since, Jaeyoung had never been sick, because he didn't want to worry his younger boyfriend.
When the bell rang, Sangwoo lazily stood up, throwing his bag on his shoulder and tried to walk out of school. But he was slow, very slow... Almost as slow as when Jaeyoung had passed his semester and they stood up all night to "celebrate", they ended up drinking way too much and Sangwoo fell after his foot collided with a table. He limped for the next few days and everybody assumed the wrong thing... Well, the very obvious hickeys on his neck that he tried to hide with cheap concealer didn't help...
