Tw: Body Horror.. I think

*Ibara's 1st POV*

Frankly, I didn't know what to do, we had stopped by a small pharmacy and although it was under the name Rosehearts, the staff didn't seem as strict as that crazy woman. They patched me up with no question asked which I am thankful for because honestly, I probably would humiliate myself if I tried to answer anything.

At some point I fell asleep. But that's beside the point that I'm currently in a void?! I absentmindedly moved to push my eyeglasses back before stopping. I have my glasses back... Is this what those preachers call afterlife? Doesn't look anything like paradise.

It was an empty space, void of anything alive; Pretty sure I'm not, as I have a huge bite taken out of me. My body was the only thing I could see in this wasteland. It was bloody with my torso torn off to the right side. My arm was torn off with the muscles and vain visibly tattered.

My legs weren't as damaged as my upper body but there was a generous amount of blood on it. Truthfully, I can't remember anything that could have done this to me. No matter how many times I turn the thought in my head, the last memory I could bring up was Bloody Mary sitting on a velvet pillow while scolding the owner that brought her there.

I just stood there, not knowing what to do. If I moved would my body rot and I'll be forever stuck in here? My thoughts were morbid but what can one even do in this situation?

Like his excellency's hair, light gray filled my vision. I held my only intact arm in front of me, closing my eyes as well. When the light had died down, the void was now filled with lanterns that glowed a dim aquamarine. A Mirror with black frame greets me.

Though the face that reflects on it was not me with my missing parts. It was Riddle. Child Riddle, I corrected myself. "Why did you do that?" The child stared at me with his annoyingly blank face. "Look kid, you could have di-" "SHE WOULDN'T KILL ME!" He screeched while I reeled back from the volume.

I frowned, it was one thing to have been forced to study your whole life but it was another to feel obliged to love the one that wronged you. "Look at me in the eye and tell me you didn't feel hurt." I instructed and like I predicted, the child couldn't.

Who could lie like that? That annoying composer from New Di definitely could. My little worker bee would but he was painfully blunt with words. Kohaku is definitely a liar. Most people in ES are. Even his highness lies. And honestly, I am guilty of helping them keep their secrets no matter how sketchy, but do I actually feel guilt? No.

"How about this. I'll continue on studying like she wants but we're going out of the house at least once a week." That way I at least appease this hunting face of his. The trained face that should keep a black stare. If I could go around I could at least monitor and study the world I'm now in.

Although I still can't accept the fact I have to live without Eden by me; Standing by was Rhythm Link's Sakuma Rei's thing. If I had truly taken up on playing this game back then, would I think twice about my actions? If it was his highness in my place, what would he have done?

The child glared at me. "What even are you? Why are you in my body?!" He still screamed but not at the same volume as earlier. "First off, I have a name; Saegusa Ibara. I am the deputy director of Cosmic Production aka CosPro." I sighed, I had a monotone voice as I interacted with this child. "For your second question, I have no idea but one thing's for sure. We just have to live with it."

'We', huh, maybe this dream was just to give closure to me as Riddle before opening a new chapter as myself. He scowled at me, I frowned. "I'm. Not. You." Suddenly all I could hear is my own voice. His highness was wrong, I'm not Riddle.

I flinched awake. The carriage hasn't stopped but it seems like we're in some sort of forest? Huh. I stretched as much as to my ability while in a moving vehicle. Riddle's father stopped reading to look up at me and speak towards me for the first time since he came back home.

"Ya need to rest more," He frowned as I stared at him with confusion. "She hit yer head pre'ty bad." I rolled my eyes before responding. "And see her face in my dreams? No thanks." I mockingly muttered as I stared out of the window with a bored look. He chuckled at my attitude before talking again. "Haven't seen ya in a few months 'n ya changed this much?" He laughed again and roughly patted my hair.

"Good thin' ya got this attitude, can't imagin' what would happen if ya keep puttin' up with her." I tilted my head. "Wouldn't she just chase after us and take me away again?" Although I doubt I wouldn't fight back; there were laws to follow, who knows if she could win them or not. "Hm? Nope~!" Well he seems cherry. "Jus' let papa deal with it!" Kagehira? He definitely reminds me too much of Kagehira-kun.

"Mn, what's the long face? Wants some candy? Here ya go!" Lemon-flavored hard-candy was dropped onto my palm. "I assume you two aren't on good terms?" I raised a brow as I plopped the perfectly balanced sweet candy in my mouth. His smiled flattered as he made an identical noise as Kagehira-kun. "Nha, I guess I can't hide it from ya." He opened his mouth to speak again but shook his head and closed it.

"Ya probably already know." I kept silent and watched his face show a flurry of emotions. "She used to be so kind ya know?" No, I don't know. "She went cold when sis-in-law died." Uh-huh and I'm supposed to forgive her? "But no matter what reason, I ain't letting ya suffer more than ya already did in my absence." I felt silently touched.

The only people willing to protect me was Eden. No matter how many times his highness would call me a viper, he still glared at those who utters mine or Jun's names in disgust. On rare occasions he would go as far as to slap someone for the sake of Eden.

If his anger during Conquest hadn't been acting, it would be understandable he lashed out. Eden, no matter how much I avoid calling it, is my family. This man in front of me is just a disgusting replacement of that. But what could I really do? Murder him and go crawling to that woman?

I'll have to face it. I'm never seeing those three again.

We arrived at a train station. He helped me down off the carriage before taking my suitcases out of the trunk and pushing it to me. We got on board and I stared off to the orange hue sky. It's strange to feel a different weight on my body. The lack of my eyeglasses makes it feel a bit bare. The new set of clothing still weighs heavy on me as I move around.

I'm not Riddle. I'm not willing to be. Speaking of being Riddle.. why did his highness compare me to him anyway? Our personalities clash; perhaps in a physical sense? Definitely no; Knight's new king is more fitting. In terms of personality their silver-haired senior is definitely a hand for the glove.

Pretty sure a kid like Riddle would prefer more honest work than how I handle mine. Not exactly rule defying but it's not at all exactly rule following either. Hasumi of AKATSUKI fits this role more. I still have a bone to pick from that woman.

We hopped on the train with myself not attempting to hide a scowl. If someone else was in my place what would they have done?

Is Crazy:B controlled? Is Eden coping well? Did they find someone who'll replace me?

I wonder what it looks like from the other side.
