This time some paramedics bring a stretcher. Samrat pushed Virat who was seating like a statue hugging a lifeless Sai. “Shiva we need to take her to hospital. We might have a chance.” Virat came to his senses and said “yes Jeeva you are right she can't leave me like this.” he put her on the stretcher and ran to the ambulance with her.
In the local hospital, doctors told that Sai is alive but critical. They applied some medicine did basic treatment stopped the bleeding and she got bullets in some crucial parts of her body we don't have expert doctors to operate on her so we are transferring her to the nearest medical College and Hospital.
Samrat called Pulkit and briefed the situation and also inform him that they are moving with Sai to Nagpur. Pulkit who was quite broken hearing the news assured Samrat that they will keep the Operation theater and a panel of doctors ready for Sai. in the meanwhile the SI contacted police headquarter Nagpur and arranged for the green corridor for Sai’s ambulance.
As soon as they reached Sai was taken to the operation theater as the local hospital communicated with NMCH and sent all reports of Sai. as soon as Sai was transferred to OT Virat sat there on his knees and broke down in sobs while Samrat also started to shed silent tears. Pulkit already informed Shivani, Rajeev, and Mohit so they along with Ninad and Ashwini rushed to the hospital. Sunny told the whole incident to them in detail. Ashwini started to cry and cursed herself “every day she came to me and said Aai please forgive me but I never took pity on her tears that's why God is taking her from us. Because we could not value her”
Pulkit sat near Virat and said “You know Virat when you left for your posting I asked Sai to concentrate on her studies as she tried a lot to convey her feelings to you but you never listen. But she told me Jiju might be Virat Sir is not listening to me right now but one day I will prove to him that I love him a lot and now she proved it by sacrificing her own life. She loves you a lot.” Virat sat there with tears listening about his Sai and her antics.
Every word of Pulkit was like a mental slap for Virat. He remembered the night Sai tried to convey her feelings and he dismissed her and many such moments when she tries to come near him but he pushed her away. He remembers the day he asked her to leave Chavan Nivas she watched her crying badly in her bed. He closed his eyes and Sai’s last words come to him along with her face how did she say in that condition that she love him…. After 2 long hours doctors come out from OT and all of Sai’s closed once rushed to them. Doctors said “we have successfully removed the bullets but still she is critical. She might not survive or may slip into a comma. Be prepared for everything.” All the hope of family members died at once. After Sai was shifted to ICU Pulkit went to Sai’s cabin and stayed there, Ashwini and Shivani sat in front of the Ganesh idol and prayed for her life while Virat just stood there in front of the glass door and watch his love unconscious and supported by so many wairs and machines.
Rajeev and Mohit met with doctors in the evening while Ninad stayed with broken Virat and Samrat. Doctors after their visit said “Who is Virat among you?” they told “None of us. Virat is outside.” One of the doctors said, “we want to meet with Mr. Virat soon.” Rajeev went to Virat and put a hand on his shoulder. Virat’s body went stiff with the touch for a moment and they again focused on watching Sai. Rajeev told “Virat doctor wants to meet you. They want to say something to you only. It's important” Virat wiped his tears and rushed to the doctor's cabin with Rajeev.
One of the doctors told him “Sai should have to get her consciousness in 4-6 hours but she is unconscious for more than 8 hours which is worrying us, she is not responding to treatments might be she doesn't have a wish to live anymore. But we have seen that she is murmuring something in her unconscious state and its your name, so if you stay with her there she might respond to our treatment.”
Virat went inside and saw Pulkit was seating there beside Sai. Pulkit left the place for Virat. Virat saw Sai murmuring in her unconscious state. He put her ear near her ear to listen and hear her saying “I love you Virat sir.” fresh tears took place in his eyes listening that. In this state she is unconscious forgetting the whole world and herself but trying to convey to him that she loves him.
The next morning Sai’s health deteriorate and doctors said that they might be not able to save her. She stopped murmuring also only the machine showing her heartbeat is proof that she is still alive. Her friends came to see her. They told that their result has out and Sai as usual stood first. They also told Virat that she wanted to do her best as she wanted to make him proud. He couldn't stop his tears and cried again seeing her in that condition.
After a few more days of fighting between life and death finally, the doctors tell them that Sai is out of danger and she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her husband’s worried face looking at her. She called him “Virat Sir” and saw tears forming in his eyes.
Virat with a broken voice told her “Sai I love you Sai. I love you like crazy. please don't leave me ever. Please don't pull these kinds of stunts ever.”
Sai was very happy to listen that her Virat sir loves her and wants to stay with her. She said “I will not go anywhere leaving you, I want to spend my whole life with you Virat Sir.” he said “Me too my love but call me Virat from now on, it's your punishment for giving me these agony full days,” she said “I can't call you by your name.” with a pleading voice he said, “Please Sai I want to listen to my name from your mouth.” Sai could not deny him anymore and said “I love you Virat,” he said, “I love you too Mrs. Sai Virat Chavan” and kissed her forehead before pulling her for a hug.
All their close ones watched the couple from the door of the cabin and thanked God for finally showering them with love, happiness and peace.
