It's always overwhelming to know that there is never one dress that is seen twice, how there is always new kinds at every celebration and reception. It's sad to know that the colorful, flowy and beautifully embroidered fabric will never see the light of day, after just one simple night, out of thousands.
But what is underwhelming is that nothing new ever happens. There is no new type of entertainment to experience, the food will stay the same and it will almost always be the same people. The same rich, high status and noble who will wear the beauty of hard work, never working a day in their lives and dismissing the blood and tears shed for them.
I will still never understand why.
The word why encapsulates so many things I wanna question, but can't.
Why do people not appreciate the hard work done for them? Why are these receptions so important and done so often? Why do I need to attend every single one?
And why is it that there never be one person in the crowd to share these thoughts?
