"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the godliest of them all?"

He was planning to become a god, so he needed to make sure he had zero competition.

No reply.

White Star impatiently looked at his reflection, waiting for the spirit to appear.

With a burp, a glasses-wearing figure slowly surfaced onto the mirror.

"Huuu. I had to step out for a drink."

White star stared at the spirit with anger in his eyes.

"I would have smashed this mirror to pieces if you weren't useful, Bud."

Taking a swig, the spirit mumbled.

"I'd prefer being Cale's secretary..."

"What was that?"

Bud quickly replied.

"Nothing, my liege..."

Clearing his throat, the spirit straightened out as he spoke in a mystical tone.

"Cale Henituse, my liege, is the godliest of them all."

An image of a similar redhead appeared next to White Star's reflection.

The goblet in his hand was thrown to the ground as dark mana spilled out.

"How is my twin brother closer to becoming a god than me?"

He grasped the rim of the mirror and stared at Bud with silent fury.

"All he does is laze around and read books."

Bud stepped back from the mirror's surface as he answered.

"Cale is favored by the gods."

Silence.

Expecting the red head to explode, the spirit watched as his liege took in a deep breath.

He began smiling.

Bud felt a shiver go down his spine looking at the cruel expression painted on his face.

Gently brushing off the dust on the mirror, White Star calmly voiced his thoughts.

"If he's in my way..."

He stared at the image of his brother.

"I'll simply just have to kill him."

Walking by the red head's side was a stiff-faced knight.

"Choi Han, is something wrong?"

The knight flinched.

"Nothing. Is. Wrong. Cale-nim."

Cale had an impressed look on his face.

He couldn't believe Choi Han would think he would fall for his act.

Feeling the prince's heavy stare, Choi Han continued to look forward as he led Cale into the forest.

'This is all for Cale-nim's safety.'

Choi Han had been ordered by his liege to kill off his younger brother, but Choi Han had always preferred Cale over his current master.

He had become a knight to protect the innocent and ensure the kingdom's safety, yet the master he was supposed to follow directly contradicted his morals.
