Chapter 1)The Shadowspires

hey everyone! so this is the first chapter of my rewrite on my elemental series do you guys like it? Could you guys tell me witch version you guys like more??? I'll keep writing that one so the basic plot is kinda the same but there are a lot of differences so yah >.< bye everyone

It was a beautiful day no more to it. Sitting under the big Oak tree outside in the garden under the shade, the sun shining bright with a nice breeze. There where a few clouds here and there but the sky was almost clear. The peace and quiet is just what I needed. Everything has been so hectic and nobody is telling me whats going on.  Oh well more time to myself, for all I know everyone forgot that I existed.

Can't say I'm not used to times like this, excuses, delays and secrets that's my family. The Shadowspires, weird name I know.

My brother and sister where always the favorites, being the youngest just guess I'm not really needed. Dawn my older sister of 15 minutes, apparently, is just perfect. Well mannered, smart, beautiful, flowing white hair and shining grey eyes and perfect everything! Even if we do look alike, my black hair always a mess, my grey eyes even if they're the exact same as hers apparently not as 'stunning' where twins for god's sake and yet she's still better than me, I'm just as smart as she is and maybe even smarter, I'm...polite. Me and Dawn are like Day and Night, guess that's why I'm called Midnight and She's called Dawn.

Than theres my brother, we look similar we both took after our mom, but none of us have her bright blue eyes. Me and Amaro both have black hair and all three of us have grey eyes and almost white skin. Amaro is a year older than me and Dawn but he acts like where 5, I'm 13 I think I can take care of myself at this point thankyou very much.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet before the devil himself showed up.

"So this is where you've been" He said sounding like he just did the most amazing thing ever..finding his 13 year old sister,and sat down next to me.

I rolled my eyes "Good Job" I said sarcastically.

"Dads looking for you again" He told me.

"Did my reading, had been studying for the past 2 hours till now, spent half an hour with Grandpa today, have not been snacking.." I kept going on with the list until Amaro stopped me. "Midnight I don't know he just wants to see you" He said Unamused.

"fine, fine, I'm going" I said getting up "Where is he anyway?" I asked him. "I just saw him coming down here think he's at his study."

"I have to go all the way up they're?"  I groaned. "Its just 3 flights of stairs" Amaro retorted. I rolled my eyes and walked back inside "Only 3 flights of stairs" I mumbled Imitating him.

I looked up at the ceiling this huge building 5 floors more than 500 rooms and I've only been to a handful, I started walking up the stairs and Aleena one of the caretakers walked down with a breakfast try and I grabbed an apple and took a bite . "Mornin Aleena" I said in a muffled voice. She giggled a little "Morning Miss, oh by the way your fa-"

 "Is looking for me I know" I interrupted her and put the apple back on the tray and started making my way up the stairs again.

"Hi Mrs.Melodina! Oh your eighth note is flying away again" I said as one of her floating music notes that are always flying above the old woman's head started floating off again "OH! you come back here" She said grabbing it back and smiled up at me "Thankyou Midnight, oh your fathers up-"
