Benjamin's P.O.V.

My mate sure did leave me speechless this afternoon. Wasn't expecting him to be so forthcoming. We're lying-in bed for a nap. He's in my arms, softly sleeping. His face is so beautiful. Someone's about to be behind the door. I don't recognize their mind.

It must be one of the female pack members. I forgot that we haven't announced Ethan as Luna yet. We'll have to do this today seeing as I want to deal with this as quickly as possible. I don't want to wake Ethan up yet, so I'll wait and see what she does. She's still an hour away.

The pack lands are very vast. We have at least fifty acres if not more. My range is quite large but when I become Alpha, my range will be able to spread through all of the pack land. I'll be quite irritable seeing as I'll know what everyone in the pack is doing. While that might sound amazing, it puts incredible stress on my mind.

There's a knock on the door that breaks my thoughts. Ethan stirs and sits up. He goes to the door to open it, but it gets broken down instead. There stood a tall female. I really want to cover my ears, so I don't hear the painfully high-pitched voice that I am sure she has. So instead of waiting to listen to it I make her head explode. Blood comes out her eyes and ears and nose. She falls slowly to the ground lifeless.

Ethan is in a panic and his heart is beating fast. I get up and walk over to him. I hug him from behind and drag him to the bed. I lay us down and kiss up his neck.

"She annoyed me. Her voice was going to be annoying, so I just stopped her from ever talking. She also dared to knock my door down. She has no mate, so no need to feel sad for her. Ethan, look at me."

He turns his head and looks at me. He looks confused, like he doesn't understand what happened. Let's take a look at his thoughts.

'Was that hot? Was it terrifying? Am I scared or turned on? I can't tell. I have a boner so I must have been turned on by the fact that he just ended a life like it was nothing. Did he have to wait until after the door was knocked down?'

I smack him on the ass for that thought. I could have. I just didn't feel like it, but he doesn't get to question me.

I flip him on his back and tower over him.

"I see my slave has a lot of thoughts about when I should have killed a pest. I think you forget who's in charge. You are not allowed to cum."

He looks confused as he tries to process what happened.

Ethan suddenly started breathing heavily and labored. It's as if the shock from everything finally hit him all at once. He has sweat on his forehead and his eyes are closed. He passed out.

'Pack doctor is needed IMMEDIATELY. She is to come to the Alpha's room.'

A few seconds later the doctor shows up. She does a regular checkup to make sure everything is fine. She checks his lungs, his throat, and his past injuries.

"Ethan's injuries are all healed up, as soon as you marked him, he healed up in no time. The only thing that's making him weak is the baby growing inside him."

Ethan's pregnant. I guess it shouldn't be much of a surprise considering how much we fucked. We need to make the announcement today. After today, Ethan will no longer leave this room. I lay Ethan on the bed and wipe his body down with a cold cloth. I can tell he won't be awake for a while.
