Quackity never lost a bet in that one simple game of chance. He always won with the same card. King of Hearts.

_

Quackity spotted a man walking towards him, pushing through the crowds of the casino like he was important. He seemed confident. Clearly didn't believe the whole king of hearts thing.  He strolled up to Quackity, holding a suitcase.

"100k if I can beat you."

"Deal." this was going to be easy, Quackity thought.

They moved to the room, and Quackity shuffled, then gave the man first pick, so it didn't seem like he was cheating. The other man was still confident, sitting in his chair with that stance. The man placed down his card before even looking, ever confident.

"Queen of diamonds. Beat that."

Quackity took a minute to look at his card, just to draw it out. Then he put it down.

"King of hearts."

The man immediately broke into a sweat, saying that he would do double or nothing. This time as he drew his card he was anxious, and his face dropped when he put down his card.

"Jack of spades."

"Just like last time, king of hearts. You think I'm cheating, wanna have a look at the footage?"

The man shrunk back instantly, shaking his head, tears already threating to spill.

"Just-just take the money!"

And he hurried off, like a dog with its tail between his legs.

Today was busier than usual, a couple more youngsters showing up to try and beat Quackity, only to have their dreams crushed by the king of hearts.

All professionals knew to never challenge Quackity, they had sense. But every day, people would come to the  casino, life savings in hand, to try their luck against the king of hearts. Quackity took almost any amount of money from a challenger, as little as one thousand dollars sometimes, so he could see their life savings taken away. No, it wasn't evil, just life. They had made the choice to walk into the casino, to withdraw their savings, to dare challenge the king of hearts. Quackity had built a reputation as an always winner, yet people kept on coming. Business was business, after all.

_

Quackity was relaxing in his office after a long night at the casino, sipping on his champagne, when he got a call.

"Quackity from Las Nevadas speaking."

"Hey, Quackity, up for a game tomorrow? For everything."

Quackity was surprised to hear Dream's voice. But he knew he would win this match. If Dream lost, which he most certainly would, Quackity would be praised by the majority of the population. So, he agreed.

"Sure. Where and what time?"
"My palace, noon."

Quackity hung up, and went to bed. Tomorrow was going to be great.

_

Quackity strolled up to the castle, confident as ever. He walked straight past the guards, into Dream's throne room.

"Well well well, look who showed up right on time." Dream was smirking. Quackity was gonna make sure to wipe that right off his face.

They sat down, and Dream shuffled. He let Quackity pick first. Dream looked at his card, and smiled as he put it down.

"King of hearts. Looks like I beat you at your own game Quackity!"

Quackity panicked, but his expression was quickly replaced with a smirk once he saw his card. It didn't matter if Dream had cheated. He made sure to place it down as slowly as possible, so he could make Dream anxious.

"Joker."
