Felix was walking around the city when he overheard a conversation between a group of people. Usually he wouldn't stop to eavesdrop but what they were saying caught his attention, so he listened.
"Did you guys hear about that shop in the next town?"
"Obviously, the rumors are everywhere about that place."
"I haven't heard of it. What are you guys talking about?"
"According to rumors, there's a shop in the next town that people visit when they want to find something valuable to them that they thought they lost."
"Something valuable... Does that also include people?"
"I don't see why not."
"You guys don't actually believe the rumors flying around, right?"
"I don't see a reason not to believe the rumors. I mean, if people have actually been there then the shop must be real, right?"
"You guys are so gullible, seriously. I've heard that people who were seen entering that shop never come out. And besides, I think it's just one big gig."
"Honestly, I call bullshit about the shop. It just seems way too fake."
Felix had heard enough and quickly rushed home to his apartment. A shop where people go to find something valuable that was thought to be lost? It sounded so fictional but Felix wanted to believe it was real. The risks are high but if it meant he could find his friends... he'd do anything to get his friends back. Felix made up his mind; he was going to visit the shop tomorrow.
