He turned to the popular girl, "stay after class we need to have a word about your lack of participation. Everyone you can leave."
As I walked out the classroom I already knew that Easton was probably confused about why his name wasn't called to stay behind.
As I walked out the school building I felt a hand on my wrist.
"My name wasn't called..." he said, confused.
"I may have or may not have done it." I speak.
As I tell him, this smile appears on his face as he stares at me. A smile I haven't seen before, like he's the happiest ever.
And Easton never smiled.
