Chapter 18

Mickey's Point of View

I started pacing around

"HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO TELL BECKY THAT WE'RE THE ONE WHO SENT THAT PICTURE??"

Sarah looked at me and shrugged

"Why are you making such a big deal out of this? Becky needed to know before she got back with him."

"But-"

"But," Sarah cut me off "like I said before, she'd be even more hurt if she found out we knew and didnt tell her"

I sighed in defeat and took a seat

You're probably wondering how we found out. 

It started this morning when we went to check on Becky...

 "Do you think we should check up on Becky?" I asked Sarah, spinning on her chair

"But Ari's already there" She replied. I rolled my eyes at annoyance. This is one of her 'lazy days' and i hate them.

 I got off the chair and pulled Sarah up from her bed

"Get your lazy ass up and let's go! Besides, it's only a few blocks away. We can walk"

She groaned and eventually got up

 I took out my phone and checked the time

  8:04am

If I wasn't so worried about Becky, I would've still be sleeping right now in Sarah's comfy bed

Yes I slept over last night. I couldn't get over what she tried to do to herself..

I shivered at the memory 

Playing on my phone, Sarah finally came out of the bathroom and looked gorgeous as always

"Ready?" I asked 

 "Yup!"

She smiled and skipped downstairs

 It was nice and sunny outside. Just the way I like it.

Smiling, I started a talking to put away the weird silence.

"I think it's cute what Austin's doing for Becky."

 "I know, it's really romantic. If I was her, I'd immediately forgive him the moment he sings to me"

Nodding, I got out my phone once again and dialled a number

"Who are you calling?" Sarah questioned

"Ari. I wanna ask her if she's already there and if we can help."

Becky's house started coming into view

 Hopefully she's ok and not too shaken up, if she is

I know I was

 I pressed the call button and pressed my phone against my right ear

 It started ringing

After 2 rings, a familiar tone came from the air

Another 3 rings passed but she still never answered

To be honest, Im kind of surprised because Ari always picks up her phone at the first or second ring

I hung up and looked up

Wait, Austin's car is outside of Becky's house. Why is it there?

 I ignored that because he's probably there to drop off Ari

We finally arrived in front of her house but saw a shocking view

Almost making me drop my phone

Austin cupped his hand to Ari's face and leaned in

I bit my lip trying not to shout

Their lips touched.

My mouth hung in shock

AUSTIN kissed Ari

 I looked at Sarah and saw her frozen, as was I

 I took another hurtful look at them

He slid his hand on her waist as she put her hand on his chest

My face is probably red by now. I was about to walk to them but Sarah pulled me aside 

Far enough to let out my shout without them hearing

"Why the fuck did you pull me away?! I was about to bitch at them!!"  I yelled in rage

 To think that Austin was actually going to get her back

 He's nothing but a heart breaker.

 And Ari? She's now a whore.

 She's Becky's best friend. How could she do that to her?

"Because if they found out we saw, they'll try to convince us to not tell Becky!! Can you imagine keeping this from her when they're already together? You know how much I hate keeping secrets from her! Especially since she's it's her BEST FRIEND that mostly hurt her now"

"But-"

"BUT NOTHING!" Sarah yelled 

 I backed up a little. Sarah never yells

"How would you feel if I found out Robert kissed some girl and I never told you?"

  I sighed frustratingly and sat on the side walk

Thinking how we're suppose break this to her

"Then... then how are we suppose to tell this to her?"

She took a seat next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder

"I don't know but we have to do it before she goes on that date tonight"

 She let out a sigh

"I expected Austin to do this again but I didnt know Ari would."

me too...

I watched as she took out her phone

She unlocked it and opened something

"What are you doing?"

She didnt reply but showed me

 "I took this, in case she didn't believe us."

 It a picture of them practically making out

 I glared at it and looked  away

 Getting up, I walked back to her house and plopped on her bed

She got something out of her closet

"Why do you have that?" I asked referring to the phone she took out

"Because we're gonna tell Becky. Just not directly to her."

"So... by a text? Doesnt she already have your number?"

"Yes but not this one."

I started having second thoughts about this

I dont want me and Sarah being responsible for ruining Becky and Ari's friendship and relationship with Austin

"But I dont want us to be responsible for ruining her friendship and relationship"

We kept arguing and arguing

It took us nearly the whole day to decided if we should send it or not

Until I checked the time

"She needs to know!" She yelled

"OK FINE! Just send the stupid picture to her! It's already time for their date anyway" I slammed the door going out

I need to take a cool off
 
 I can't imagine how she'll take this.

 End of Flashback

I lied on her bed, remembering everything that happened today

That's when Sarah's phone that she doesnt use started ringing

' Thank you ' was all it said

I could already hear her heart break

End of POV

We arrived at Taylor's hotel

She's only staying for 3 more days until she goes back to Texas

I sat on her bed feeling dirty

My hair is a mess, my make up is all smudged up. Im too scared to look at the mirror

She came out with extra clothes 

"Here you go. The bathroom is right there," She said handing me the clothes and pointing to the bathroom

"you can shower and fresh in up."

I nodded and walked to the bathroom

Looking at the mirror, I winced in horror

I knew I looked more horrible than I thought 

I stripped out of my dress and got into the shower

Letting the hot water hit my skin, somehow calming me down a little

I started thinking

Should I talk to him?

More and more thoughts came through my mind

After about an hour later, I finished my business and got out 

I came out and saw Taylor texting someone

"Oh I didn't see you there' She said putting away her phone

I sat next to her on the bed and stared at her confusingly

"What?"

"Why?" I asked

"Why did you bring me here and you're being nice to me after I yelled at you and didnt believe that Austin wasnt the dad of your baby?"

She smiled and hugged me

For some reason, I liked it and hugged back

"Because if I were you and went through everything you went through, I'd feel the exact same way."

I looked at her in aww

"So now, do you want to explain to me what happened between you and Austin?"

The picture came into my mind

"If you dont want, it's o-"

"No, I'll tell you. It's the least I can do for being such a bitch"

I crossed my legs and got comfortable

Putting on my best fake smile I could pull off

Before I had time to speak, a call interrupted me

She looked at the caller I.D and immediately got upset

She ignored it but it called again. She ignored it once again but then it called once more

"You can answer the phone" I said getting annoyed

She looked hesitant but finally answered

"What do you want now, Austin?!"
