The rest of the week continued as normal, he got up, went to work, and relaxed under the willow tree he sighed and relaxed feeling the grass and breeze he sighed as someone sat beside him "Gaia...what's on your mind?" It was his father he rubbed his own arm then sighed "I had a dream...the trees were begging me to help them....I think something or someone needs my help papa..." his father scowled "Gaia...you know you can't leave town" "well why not? You could take me" "gaia...you're blind you'd only be a hinderance...those calls, these so called dreams, all of it is nonsense...." "But papa please" "YOU ARE NEVER LEAVING THIS TOWN! I don't care how old you are I don't care gaia!" The boy fell quiet "do you know how many people would love to take advantage of a small dainty boy like you? How many would sell you for your abilities they'd kill you gaia...so no you're not leaving town...are we clear?" The boy nodded "yes papa..." his father stood up and walked home "let's go Gaia..."
The boy sat in his room in his attic, he sighed recalling his dream and the calls, he turned to some nightshade on the balcony "what? No...I couldn't" he sunk into the pile of pillows on his bed "you're right about that...maybe she does...okay fine maybe I'll go and ask her at the tavern if she knows anyone then come back..." Gaia grabbed his cane and took a deep breath he couldn't believe he was considering the option he walked to the tavern it was lively with people talking, tables of people drinking ale and at the bar counter a woman stood there she was quite broad and muscular, with a sharp jawline and long Black hair, she smiled "hey Gaia what can I get you?" He smiled "just some water please Willow" she smiled as Gaia sat at the bar "what brings you here? Your father want some ale?" He shook his head "no...I need...an escort" her face went wide "woah flower boy...do you even know about-" his face went red "n-not like that! Geez willow! No I literally need someone to take me to a place!" She sat the glass of water down "oh good...I was starting to say" he groaned just then he overheard a conversation not far
"Yeah swiped the bag from some stupid blind guy...honestly he was a total freak..." the guy laughed he sported long ash blonde hair with Red eyes and a long black cloak, Gaia grumbled "hey!" The guy turned around "give me my coins back!" He held his hand out "or else what? Gonna wack me with your cane like an old man?" He laughed Willow stood behind him" Zephyr give him his money" he held it up "and if I don't?" She glared at him "then I'll let the manager know you're here..." he tensed up "or perhaps the guards would love to know you're here" "you can earn them" gaia added willow looked at him as zephyr looked confused "what do you mean?" Gaia swallowed the lump in his throat "I need someone to take me out of town...take me and the money is yours" zephyr slouched over on his knees thinking "okay petals" he stood up "I get you where you need to be and I keep the money..." he nodded "I'll even double it so think of this as half now half later" Zephyr nodded looking at willow who was in clear disapproval,Gaia snuck out of the house that night bringing only a book and herbs for the trip he turned to the cottage and sighed "I'm sorrry papa...there's just something out there....I gotta check it out" he met zephyr under the willow where the caravan and horse waited for them
"Ready petals?" Gaia took a deep breath and nodded "yeah....let's go"
