"I miss him...."

Gold was sitting in his bed. Silver never came back when he disappeared. Gold looked at a photo frame of him and Silver at a carnival. That was when they started dating for the first time. Silver was blushing like the color of his hair while Gold was grinning, parts of cotton candy on his face. Gold smiled somberly as he ran his fingers over the picture frame.

Silver decided to leave him and Johto for some 'time alone'. It greatly made him upset as he knew that this could have been some type of excuse to just leave him alone. He remembered coming home really upset and talking to Red about it. Red later came over and comforted him on that day. Unfortunately, Gold tried to call him the next day, but received no response.

He remembered that memory of them when Silver left.

"Hey, Gold?" Silver said.

"Yeah?" Gold replied.

"I need to talk to you. It's about us." Silver replied back. Gold looked at him, hearing a sense of worry in the red haired boy. "What is it?" Gold said, feeling concerned.

"I am leaving the city for a long time. I need some time alone." Silver said. Gold was shocked upon hearing that. Was he saying this because he wanted to leave him alone? Was he saying this as a goodbye? He couldn't tell. But it filled him with a lot of emotions all at once as if it hit him like a tsunami.

Gold's eyes was filled with tears and anger.

"Why?!" Gold yelled. Silver was shocked by Gold's reaction. "Gold, hear me out- Silver was interrupted by Gold grabbing the collar of his black jacket.

"Is it because of something I did?! Is it because of your fucking dad?! Is it because you hate me like I always thought you did?! We're friends!" Gold yelled at Silver's face. Silver has never seen Gold this upset at all before. But he knew that he had to calm him down before he goes down the mountain of rage even further.

"Gold! Calm down!" Silver yelled.

"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN, YOU FUCKING IDIOT?!" Gold screamed before slapping him and letting Silver go. Tears fell down Silver's own face as he held a hand over his right cheek, which was the target of Gold's slap. Gold was wiping his eyes with his sleeves, doing his best to wipe his tears away, but more tears kept falling down his face. After 5 minutes, Gold spoke in a shaky voice.

"Fine. Get the fuck out of here."

Silver looked at him with widened eyes. He did tell Gold he wanted some time alone but he didn't expect Gold to tell him to go. "Gold, I-"

"I said get the fuck out of here."

Gold wasn't yelling anymore, but he was still much too upset. Silver continued to look at Gold. Gold was shaking slightly and he wasn't even looking at him. He didn't even want to look at the red haired boy. He just wanted him to go.

"Please... just go. Get the fuck out, before I change my mind."

"Gold, I..."

Gold held himself with his arms tighter. He was losing his patience. "I'll say it one last time, Silver." He looked at him with his golden eyes, which was now red from crying.

"Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. My. Sight."

He turned his head away, looking away from Silver.

More tears fell down Silver's face. He looked at the ground before walking away.

Tears began to fall down Gold's face before he wiped them away. He heard a knock on his door, which startled Gold. He placed the picture frame down before walking to his front door and opening it.

Red.

"Hey...are you alright?"

Gold shrugged and stepped aside to let Red inside. Once he got in, he closed the door. "I'm not quite sure honestly." Gold replied after some time. He sat down on the couch and patted the spot next to him and Red sat down. "You know I'll support you no matter what, right?" Red asked and Gold nodded.

"Of course I know, man." Gold replied back with a warm smile. "It's why you're my best friend." Red gave a warm smile back. By their other friends, they were known to be an inseparable duo when it came to friendship. Whenever one needed help, the other would provide help for them.

It felt quite nice.

"So...I was going to ask if you wanted to hang out with me and Yellow. It's okay if you don't wish to." Red said to Gold. Gold thought about it before nodding with a grin on his face. "Yeah, sure!" Gold replied happily and Red smiled even more.

"We should let your mom know." Red said and Gold nodded before they both got up to let Gold's mother know. She agreed to let them go and said that she can pick them up if needed and they nodded. "Be good, Cyndaquil." Gold said and Cyndaquil nodded.

They both left Gold's house and decided to go hang out in Goldenrod City. Once they arrived, they saw Yellow waving at them with a smile. "Hey, boys!" Red and Gold waved back before they ran up to her. They decided to do various things together such as getting food, walking around, and going to the department store for important stuff and stuff they wanted.

...........................

It was now night time. Red, Yellow, and Gold were waiting for Gold's mother as she decided she will pick them up. "Oh, she's here!" Gold said happily and they turned and noticed her inside her car. Red and Yellow waved at her and she waved back.

The three teenagers got in the car (Gold in the passenger seat, Red and Yellow in the back seats) and put on their seatbelts before she started driving once again. Throughout the car ride, everything seemed normal. The three teenagers were talking with each other about their time hanging out.

"Red, I just want to thank you once again. You know, for asking me to hang out with you and Yellow." Gold said with a smile on his face.

Red smiled back. "It's no problem, Gold. If anything, I'm glad it took your mind off of things."

"Yeah! I'm glad that you had a fun time with us!" Yellow added with a smile. Gold smiled even more. Red and Yellow were mainly his closest friends. Crystal was also his close friend but they weren't as much as close as how Gold was close to Red and Yellow.

They continued talking and Gold's mother smiled. She was glad to see her son happy. She was worried for him when he came back home upset that day Silver left, but she was happy that Red was there to comfort him. However, she gasped when she saw a car drive right towards her and attempted to move out of the way, but she didn't move quick enough.

"Children-!"

Red, Gold, and Yellow saw it all happen and they screamed as they felt the impact of the car hitting the car they were in, which resulted in a devastating crash as sounds of the crash echoed across all of Goldenrod City.

Then silence.
