A Few Months Earlier

Mickey had a water bottle in her hand that contained just enough vodka for one last swig. She downed it, then threw the bottle into the nearest trash can. She was outside of the building now, leaving the party along with everyone else that had attended. She came here alone, and she was going to leave alone, too.

Ever since she moved to Australia with Roxie, she's been some what of a lone wolf. She was friendly with everyone - or at least most people - but she never actually grew close with anyone she met. She knew a lot of people, a lot of people knew her. But no one knew more about her than she wanted them to know. She was somewhat of a mystery. Went to parties alone, left alone, but she always knew how to have a fun time.

Mickey looked down to see her shoe laces untied. She bent down, tying the laces of her boots as people passed her by without a care in the world. She struggled with it a little, but managed to get the loops anyway. She straightened up, pushing her hair out of her face and lookin down at her masterpiece with a proud smile. Looking up into the crowd, she caught sight of Marissa and Jack, who she spent the whole night dancing with. She waved at them and they returned the favor. Mickey walked, following the flow of the crowd until it dispersed near the parking lot.

"Oi," someone shouted. She wasn't sure if it was aimed at her, so she chose to ignore it. But when the person repeated themselves, mentioning the black dress she was wearing, she knew they were talking to her. She turned to face the voice and was confused to see Chook and a few of his guys. She recognized Ca$h from school, and the rest of them from hanging around Harry's. They hung around there quite a bit, it was kind of sad actually. She stopped walking and crossed her arms across her chest in a sort of protective manner as she looked at them.

"Nice dress," Chook said, a smirk playing on his lips as he looked her up and down.

"Thanks," Mickey said, watching him as he stood up and stepped towards her. He gently took a hold of her hand and brought it up above her head. He spun her around, much to the amusement of his friends. She stumbled, letting out a laugh as he steadied her. She was visibly drunk, and her senses were altered. There was a headache building up and her head was spinning, although not enough to worry her. She felt his hands on her waist, one of them traveling further up. Mickey pushed away from him.

"What's your name?"

"M-mickey," she said hesitantly, looking from him to the others standing behind him. There was a smile on their faces, all except one. Ca$h looked worried. And that worried Mickey.

"Why don't you come back with us? We keep the party going, huh? You look like you could use a little more fun."

"Oh, no. I'm good," she said, giving him a friendly smile and moving to walk away. He grabbed a hold of her wrist and stopped her. That was what put her on alert. The grip on her wrist was a little too strong, the look in his eye spelled danger. She glanced at the car and caught sight of one of the guys holding the back door open. She looked back at Chook.

"Leave her alone," a voice spoke, but he was immediately shut down by one of his companions.

"Come on," he insisted. Mickey could feel his hand on the small of her back, pushing her towards the car. Before she knew it, she was sitting in between Ca$h and the guy who she vaguely remembered. Later, she would come to know him as Jayden. She didn't know how she ended up in the car. She remembered feeling scared, her heart speeding up. How did she let herself get dragged into this? Her head was spinning more now, their voices seemed a little distorted as they talked around her. She could see Chook looking back at her with a smirk on his face, she could feel Ca$h moving uncomfortably beside her. She looked to him, but he didn't look back at her.
