Nero was within the truck. He kept eyeballing that arm of his. He let it twist and turn. His fingers re-calibrating themselves, returning to air then palm. One of the men spoke about war stories as a mercenary. Nero listened loosely. Henry spoke out.

"How ya feeling man?" Henry asked.

"I could last long periods of time without using this arm. This whole place broke a long mean streak without it." Nero said.

"That arm really gives me the chills." Zoey admitted.

"Yeah it's nice." Henry said.

"Give me some word on that lousy leader of yours." Nero itching to reach a catharsis of the silent matter.

"He's our leader. He tells us what to do we listen." The man said.

"He's an asshole if you ask me..." Zoey made it clear as the words escaped her.

She never really insulted people, but she'd get frustrated and you'd know about it. But this time she had to express it. She knew very little about him.

"What about his friend, the lady who wears the cat ears headband." Zoey asked.

"She's his right hand. She gives orders from time to time. She plans out the future, like big stuff, like whether to raid a prison or check the map for other stuff. She used to climb buildings and steal from criminals. Jason would just go outside and straight up murder people, just for the sake of it, or because they were criminals, nobody knows why but he just kills criminals." Henry replied.

"So you're telling me he's some sort of superhero?" Zoey saying the words as if she were laughing.

"Somewhere in the middle." Henry said.

"Well that seems like he's fucked in the head even more than I thought." Zoey appreciating the words with a roll of the eye paired with a grin. She couldn't help but feel disgusted by the man.

Meanwhile the truck was hauling a car filled to the brim with dangerous people. A taxi. It was a fraction of the truck's size. Yet despite this it housed Louis, Francis, Selina and Tony.

"So how exactly do you all mix?" Selina questioning the group for more info.

"I was a biker guy stopping by the city to get some stuff. I fucking hate everyone but we all come in handy. This office guy over here hates me but he can't deny I've saved him more than once." Francis answering her in a quick manner.

"Same goes here. This armor guy is a pain in the ass too. But he saved us tons of trouble." Louis said.

Louis checked his watch it was 6 AM. Better than the hour before.

5 AM

Selina made a humph as she rubbed her eyes. She then felt her head laying on something, and as she tilted her head back to the right, she had realized she had slept on his shoulder. Her jaw opened and she continued like this for some time.

"I'm so sorry for that! Really, I am!" Selina staring at him.

He seemed to be laying back into the seat with his eyes dead set on the road. He seemed even paler than earlier. A tear rolled down one eye, along with his nose running. He had his suit back on. His black vest over his dress shirt and tie, but more importantly over his body armor.

"I kept you there not because I enjoyed it but because I needed you ready." Jason said hopping out the door as the last three words.

Selina gave chase doing the same. She awkwardly stood there watching as he removed his coat. And went straight to his men. He clapped his hands back and forth as if there were dust on his hands. She found it redundant to get close to someone these days. But some part of her was actually fond of it. Perhaps in some weird way he enjoyed it too maybe?
