This day is a very special day, not just for you, but especially for Rin. You wanted everything perfect—but if not, at least right. Everything is set and you had all you need ready.

You had called Rin to come by your place exactly at midnight, he wasn't one to protest though when it comes to your request. As you wait for him in your living room, the candles on the cake in front of you are waiting to be lit.

Rin got to your place just a few minutes before midnight. His face straight-up slammed on the door of your apartment after he twisted the knob—he was expecting the door to be unlocked since you had invited him. He's rubbing his nose to ease the impact as he searches for keys in his pockets.

When he finally opened the front door, his eyes had fallen on the love of his life who is holding a cake in front of him.

"Happy 21st birthday, Rin," you smiled sweetly at him.

Rin's face burned and his heart swelled from the admiration he was feeling for you. His hand scratches the back of his head before smiling shyly at you. He steps closer and blows out the candles on the cake.

"Thanks, _____," admiration was still dancing in his eyes.

"Yey!" You cheered after the flames are out. "Come with me, Rin," with one hand, you grabbed his wrist and pulled him to the living room. He settled on the couch and watched as you carefully put down the cake on the center table.

"Just wait for me right there, okay?"

Rin nods and you smiled again before disappearing to your bedroom. His hands resting on his knees, and his eyes roaming around your living room. It is not the first time he's been to your home, he actually got a few of his stuff in your house—his favorite spot in your house though is your bedroom. That's why he was a little puzzled when you left him in the living room, he kept staring at your bedroom's closed door.

Rin's getting impatient, his foot tapping on the floor as he waits, and he's been eyeing the cake that you left. He can only mutter in his thoughts, How long do you plan to be inside your room?

Just before his patience totally run out, you appeared from your room while keeping your hands behind your back. It made Rin curious about what you were hiding from him, but you managed to keep it hidden until you reach his side.

You smiled sweetly at Rin before shuffling out the bouquet behind your back, "Ta-da! These flowers are for you."

"W-What..." A blush rose on his cheeks, he doesn't understand what he was feeling upon receiving a bunch of flowers. He felt like he was having shortness of breath, and yet his face is breaking into a smile. When the bouquet was transferred to his hand, he couldn't help but stare at your choice of flowers, it was a mix of blues—they were pretty.

Rin unknowingly lean and sniff the scent of the flowers, he immediately regretted it as a strong itch followed his actions. He loudly sneezes on the bouquet and a few petals fell off, you still found him adorable though.

"Are you okay?" You asked in concern as you hand him a tissue. Then, you remarked jokingly, "I didn't know you would enjoy flowers that much.

Rin accepted the tissue and sneezed once more, this time, you took the flowers away from him, and set them on the table just beside his cake.
