Groaning, Uki sat up and rubbed his tired, swollen eyes. His heterochromatic eyes, one a deep blue and the other a warm amber, scanned the dimly lit room, the shadows confirming that the sun had already set.

"I slept through the day again?" he murmured to the empty room, his voice hoarse from disuse. Slowly, he swung his legs over the side of the bed, feeling the cold floor beneath his feet, and shuffled toward the bathroom to freshen up.

Standing in front of the mirror, Uki took in his reflection. The oversized shirt he wore hung loosely on his slender frame, a stark reminder that it wasn't his. His fingers traced the fabric, and the memories flooded back, intensifying his pain, his loneliness, and his heartbreak.

"No matter how much I keep wearing this shirt every day, it doesn't change the fact that you're gone..." he muttered, staring at his own reflection. Tears welled up in his already reddened eyes, spilling over as he let the grief wash over him.

Glasses on the sink, they didn't fix you
Lonely pillows in a stranger's bed
Little voices in my head'

"Uki?" Sonny called out softly as he slowly entered the apartment. The place looked abandoned, a stark contrast to the days when it buzzed with life. Only the silhouette on the sofa, staring aimlessly into the void, betrayed any sign of occupancy.

"Uki..." Sonny muttered sadly, taking in the sight of his friend, now pale and gaunt, a shadow of his former self.

Uki glanced up briefly, acknowledging the presence in his apartment. He tried to muster a smile, but his lips refused to cooperate, remaining in a thin, grim line.

"Uki, you can't keep doing this to yourself," Sonny said gently, careful not to tread on any emotional landmines that could shatter the fragile peace.

"I'm okay... I'll be okay..." Uki muttered hoarsely as he tried to sit up. Sonny sighed and placed the bag of groceries on the kitchen counter before returning to the living room and sitting in front of Uki on the coffee table.

"Uki... you said that a year ago, and nothing has changed," Sonny said, taking Uki's cold, trembling hand in his. "You haven't eaten anything at all. You're killing yourself, Uki."

Uki's eyes welled up as he stared at Sonny, tears spilling over like fragile crystals. Sonny didn't say anything more; instead, he moved to sit beside Uki, gently pulling him into an embrace. Uki's head rested on Sonny's chest as he sobbed, his body shaking with each wrenching cry.

"Shhh... It's okay. Let it all out," Sonny murmured, stroking Uki's hair soothingly. The pain Uki felt was something Sonny couldn't fully understand, a deep, aching sorrow that only time and immense support could begin to heal. But in that moment, he was there, and he hoped it was enough.

Lost a little weight because I wasn't eating
All the songs that I can't listen to, to tell the truth'
