A one shot here, Have tried to potray the mother's pain, while her son was on a mission.
Let's Begin.*****
"Laut aa mere bacche, Teri maa tera intezaar kar rahi hai"
A mother sitting in her room staring a photo album, having pictures of three people, a couple, and a boy.
The women keeps on turning the pages and smiles with tears. The dried tear marks are clearly visible on her, giving a hint that the women has been crying since hours.
"Tera mission poora hoga bhi ya nahi mere bacche" Was what she could speak
The son was out on a deadly mission, for more than 6 months. The mother could feel the danger his son is in, each and every moment she passed with utmost difficulty in these six months. Every day she keps on gazing at his picture, keeping an eye on the door of the house, with just one hope that her son would come back. The mother desperately waiting for his son to return from the mission, he was appointed some days after the Independence Day.
"Tu toh chala gaya mission par bas teri yeh yaadein in tasveeron ke roop mein reh gayi hain mere paas" This was something her heart always said to her, this was the only reason behind her smiling with the tears. His photo album, his only memories she had. A mother missing his son badly, tried to calm herself seeing his pictures in the album. No body can ever feel that what pain she was going through these months.
Being on a mission, she couldn't contact him, neither did she get any messages from him, nor did she receive any letter, as she always used to get, whenever he was out on any mission.
"Tu jab bhi kisi mission par jaata tha, mission ke dauran kamse kam ek khat toh bhejta hi tha, chahe kitna bhi khatarnaak mission kyun na ho, tu mujhe khat bhejna nahi bhulta, par is baar tune kuch nahi bheja, yeh baat mujhe andar hi andar khaaye jaa rahi hain mere bacche"
Indeed this was the true feeling of a mother's heart. She can't even think of a day without listening to her son's voice, getting content with his safety.
"Mujhe har din bas ek hi takleef khaaye jaa rahi hain, Tu salamat hain na mere bacche, kyun har din aisa lagta hain tu kisi mushkil me hai" The mother's connection with his son is not of blood, but of heart. The mother starts loving her child even before the child is born, rhe best example of unconditional love. The mother could easily sense the danger her child was present in, she knew that something is going wrong somewhere with her child, but helpless, she could not do anything, but just pray to God for her son's well being.
"Yeh 25 ve baar main teri album dekh rahi hoon, ab Tu toh hain nahi toh teri in yaadon ke sahare hi apna din guzaarna pad raha hain mujhe"
The mother turned the pages of the album. Even after years, these pictures were clicked, she still remembers each and every event that took place. In her son's absence, his memories were her lifeline, that kept her alive till now, the old women has nothing to do alone. When her son was around he became reason to pass the day's time smoothly, but now each and every minute feels like years for the old woman.
"25 September, 1981"
"Humaare ghar mein khushiyaan aayi, tere roop me. Tu ghar ki sirf khushiyan hi nahi, ghar ka rounak bhi hai, dekh na, aaj tu hain nahi toh maano poore ghar me andhera chaaya hua hai, khushiyaan toh dur ki baat hai, ghar ka ujala bhi maano tere saath chala gaya"
