Your boyfriend, Alec, was on the couch the last time you saw him. You, were supposed to be taking a shower. It had been an exhausting day at work and after constantly being yelled at, you barley had enough energy to say hi to Alec. You stepped in the shower miserably and barley managed to turn on the shower before your tears hit. You stood there, facing the shower as the water hit you like warm rain. Everything felt so dark for a moment. Then , a knock came. A soft one. Alec.
"Love, do you mind if I come in?" His muffled voice rang across the walls. You told him to come in a wobbly voice. His grin grew wider as he saw you, smiling at him through your tears. He held up his arms, giving you some mints to chew on. Without saying a word, he knew what to do. He stepped in the shower, not concerned about the boiling water.
"But Alec, your clothes are soaked-" He shook his head, as he grabbed your shampoo.
"Sit, Lloyd. Do you want conditioner today?" He asked while ruffling your hair ever so slightly. The rest of the shower was you sitting as he gently massaged your hair, telling you how perfect and pretty you were. Even as he washed your body in complete silence, he beamed at himself that you trusted him enough to touch you. You gave him a slow kiss that could describe so many words at the end of the shower , mainly , Thank you for always doing this for me, I love you.
