Lucy lies on her mums chest listening to her heart-beat again, again, again... Then nothing happens, nothing happens for 3 seconds. Lucy slumps down the side of her mums bed. Lucy eyes scrunch up and down. Then tears starts flooding out. Lucy is sure that her mum in unconscious. Lucy gets up, wipes her tears and go towards her phone. She speaks to the ambulance and they said they will be right over. Lucy is not sure to phone her dad. Lucy dwells on this moment. As she is dialling the last number, the doorbell rings. Lucy sighs. It's was the ambulance. All they did was asked wear she was. She said nothing but pointed. I stayed downstairs. For the time it took she was just worrying. They came down. It wasn't good news. Lucy buried my face. No sound came out. Just her eyes crunched and didn't open. What shall she do. She ended up ringing my dad and he said nothing. The phone hung up. What was happening. Lucy decided to make dinner. She knew how to make pasta. As she did so, she heard a ring. She suspected it was a fax. She wasn't sure what but it must be important. No one would ever fax anything nowadays. It is only for really important messages. She pick up the letter. It was from her dads army force. It said 'I am very sorry to tell you this... ' Lucy closed the letter she knew what she was going to hear. She looked at the bottom. M.I.A. What will she do. She can't live be herself. It's all happening so fast. In one day, what could happen next?
