▶ Family ~ The Chainsmokers

"Goodness, this is a classic car!" Ji Hyun gasped, seeing Taehyung's Porsche. "Will you let me drive it, Taehyung-ah?"

Taehyung nodded and Ji Hyun happily got in the driving seat, looking around at the controls. Taehyung sat at the front, explaining how the automatic car worked.

"So, uh, no stick shift?" Ji Hyun asked.

"Nope. You just need to press the accelerator and break and when you wanna reverse, you shift this to the R. But if you're more comfortable with gears, we can always switch?"

"Oh you can do that?!"

Tae nodded, giving his signature boxy smile. Ji Hyun grinned and started the car, pulling out of the parking lot.

Jungkook smiled to himself at how patient Tae was being. He was so proud of having him as his boyfriend. Even though he hadn't asked him yet and he was fully intending to, he was just supremely happy.

Their first stop was Wooshik's sister's restaurant, for brunch, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Taehyung received special treatment obviously even though Euni herself wasn't there, the whole staff knew who he was.

Hana was awed when some girls flocked to him for autographs.

"You're actually famous, my god," she whispered, enjoying the boba tea.

"Why would he lie to you about that, Mum?" Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Since when do you hang out with celebrities and not delinquents, Kook?" She teased, poking his ribs. Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Mum, that was years ago! Why would you bring that up? Why are you so dead set on embarrassing me?"

The delinquent comment made Taehyung a little uneasy. He didn't know much about Jungkook's past, he realised and it made him wonder. It also bothered him that Jungkook hadn't told him anything yet.

Why hadn't the ravenette opened up?

"Ah, I know. I'm just teasing you. Yaah you ungrateful brat, now you're embarrassed of your own birthgiver! See this is what the world has come to nowadays!" she grumbled.

"Hana for god's sake, Taehyung has a reputation, stop being so loud!" Ji Hyun said softly, sending an apologetic glance to Taehyung.

Taehyung snapped out of his thoughts.

"It's... It's fine Ms. Hana, I'm quite liking this informality, you know? Being poised and proper all the time is very suffocating," he smiled politely.

Ms. Hana fell silent. Was he insinuating she wasn't polite and proper?! But he had said that so softly. Confused on whether it was an insult or compliment but not wanting to offend the model, she quietly finished her lunch, a slight frown on her face.

Jungkook stared at Taehyung wide eyed, who sent him a subtle wink. He slipped his hand in Taehyung's, squeezing it lightly. The older smiled, which made the raven's heart go kaput.

After brunch, they decided to visit the Seoul Museum and after that, Hana decided to do a little street shopping. Ji Hyun and Jungkook found a bench to sit on, knowing the two divas would take forever to get done.
