Ep : 21 [ Came Back Together.....]

EP : 21

After the festival, we went to the apartment where Hyun Soo was living for a month.
"Let's go inside." He pushed me. We had already eaten the dinner while watching the fireworks, so we just went to the room because i was so tired after a whole day trip.
"Ah, you can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the couch." He smiled and took his blanket from the bed.
"Why? I can sleep there." I stopped him.
"Hey! Did you forget? One time when you slept in my place, i slept outside. I don't mind it. So just go." He patted at my shoulder. He had became the Hyun Soo i known. A cheerful person who always smiles. In the end, i agreed to sleep on the bed. I lie down.
"Good night." He smiled at me.
"Hmmm." I smiled back. He folded his arms and closed his eyes. I was watching him continuously when he turned around and saw me.
"Huh? What are you watching?" He laughed.
"Ah, nothing." I looked away. But then i looked at him again.
"Mi Kyoung. . . I know you want to ask me so many things. You can ask whatever you want." He smiled.
"Yeah, i really want to ask so many things." I sighed. "What did you do all this time? How did you pay your rent to live here? Was it hard? Or. . . Did you miss me?" I bit my lips.
"Ha. . . I did many types of part time jobs like - delivered the food, worked at a coffee shop, delivered newspapers etc. That's how I paid my rent with some of the earning. And yeah. . . It was very hard." He sighed. "Sometimes I delivered food to the wrong person and sometimes I dropped the coffee because i was shallow inside. I didn't know what to do because i missed you so hard. . . . I really missed you Mi Kyoung." He sighed and looked away.
"I am sure it was hard for you as well as me. So let's not bring this topic again. From now on, let's forget it like it never happened." I smiled.
"Okay." He smiled back. "Do you want me to come there?" He suddenly asked and i got flustered.
"What?" I was blushing from head to toe at his words.
"Ah, no, no, i didn't meant that. I mean do you want me to come there so i can hold your hand for a little while." Soon he realised he made a mistake.
"Ahhhh. . . That's what you meant." I am so stupid what did i think. "No, no, just sleep. I am so tired. Good night." I hid myself in the blanket.
"Hahaha~ okay. Good night." I heard he laughed. I was very embarrassed that i couldn't come out of the blanket and fell asleep.

In the morning, when i woke up, sunlight was peeking  through the window. I stood up and went to the bathroom. When i came back, i saw him who was sleeping peacefully at the couch like it was his favourite spot. I went forward and sat down to look at him closely. His hair was covering his forehead so i parted his bangs. I was rubbing his hair, when he opened his eyes slowly.
"What are you doing?" He asked me with confused eyes.
"Huh? Me?" I was blushing so much that my cheeks became red.
"Yes, you, my love." He smiled that i felt like i was going to faint.
"Oh, nothing. I was just checking there was something in your hair." I stood up quickly. "Ah, go and get fresh, i am going to make breakfast." I ran outside because of embarassment.
"I am so stupid." I said to myself.

After some time he came outside and i was setting the meal on the dining table.
"You already made everything?" He came close.
"Oh, yeah. Actually, it's not much. I just cooked ramyeon and made egg rolls." I pointed at the table. "Let's have breakfast." We sat down and started a small talk.
"Oh by the way, we are going back to Seoul in just few hours. So, if you want to pack everything, just do it quickly." I suggested him so we can go back as soon as possible.
"We are going back in few hours? Too early?"
"Yeah, but Baek Hyeon already booked the tickets yesterday because i was insisting to go back after watching the festival." I scratched my neck.
"I see. Okay. I don't have much so i will just pack the main stuff. And yeah. . . . Let's go back and start a new journey. . .like before." I stopped and looked at him.
"Yeah. That's a great idea." I winked at him and we both laughed. After eating our meal, he packed his luggage and talked with his landlord because he had to pay his rent.
And like this, our trip to Jeju Island had been ended. When we landed at the airport, we went straight to Baek Hyeon's home because Hyun Soo wanted to thank him.
"Hi!"
"How have you been?"
"Not so good."
"Okay, so now you both are finally together and i am happy for you but. . . You want some nagging Hyun Soo." He glared at him. "I mean, i know you left her for good but it isn't right. If something is bothering you, you should tell each other. You can't left her like this." I think Baek Hyeon was right and he is my friend so it was his right to be worried about me.
"But still, don't think that i hate you. Just don't leave her again or i will steal her from you." He hugged him.
"I wouldn't let that happen." Hyun Soo hugged him back and we all laughed together. Although it was a little awkward between them from the starting but i think they were coming close now. Of course it will be great if they would have become close friends rather than the rivals in a love triangle.
And like this, we went back to our ordinary days. Soon exams were coming, so we were busy in exam preparations. Time sure flies fast because one more month has been passed and our exams were over. And then we planned a trip to America because my parents were asking to meet Hyun Soo. So we decided to go after exams and now that the exams were over, we were going to America.

When we were going to America, i was a bit tensed. It was a first time when i was bringing a boy to my home so that's why i was nervous more than him. I thought what will they think about him? What if they will ask him strange questions? There were so many questions running through my head but when we reached there, i was surprised that Hyun Soo got along with them very well. It was like he was a part of our family. My family really liked him so much. My mom and dad really adored him. My elder sister was having fun with him. I think it's because they both have somewhat similar personality like - cool and energetic. And my younger brother was behaving like he got an elder brother. It was fascinating to see them all together having fun. We really enjoyed there and went on different dates too.
After some days, we went back to Korea. My sister also came with us because she works in an art company and she had to select some art pieces from our university. Then we went straight to our home.
"Okay then good night. See you tomorrow." I bid him farewell.
"Yeah." I felt like he wanted to say something and i think my sister also felt that.
"Ah, i am going inside first." So she went inside. And i was right, when she went inside, Hyun Soo hugged me.
"I didn't get a chance to hug you because i was nervous because of your parents."
"You were not looking nervous." I hugged him back.
"I was." We hugged each other for a moment and then went to our own ways.
When i went inside, my sister was waiting for me there in the living room.
"Oh, you can stay in that room." I pointed at a room which was at the right side of my room.
"Okay. . . . But what did you two do outside?" She smirked.
"Wh-what do you mean?" I looked away.
"Did you two kiss?" She laughed.
"What? Are you crazy?" I yelled.
"Hahaha. Look at you blushing so hard. I never saw you blushing like this around a guy. Hmmm, my little sister has really grown up." She patted on my shoulder. "Okay forget it. Now tell me, don't you know any handsome boy in your university?" She came close and asked me with pleading eyes.
"Whatever. I don't know anyone." I pushed her away.
"Don't lie. I know there will be someone." She raised an eyebrow.
"I told you there is no one." And then i got a call from Baek Hyeon.
"Who is it?" She sneaked at my phone.
"Baek Hyeon."
"I know silly, i can read the name. But who is he?"
"It's a long story." I smiled and picked up the call.
"Hello! Baek Hyeon." I giggled.
"Hey! Did you come back safely?" He asked.
"Yeah. What about you? Did you go somewhere during the vacation?" I thought i should ask.
"No, i didn't go anywhere. I just stayed at home and read some books i wanted to read." He laughed.
"Oh that's great. You know what, we went on a loads of dates there. I can tell you in case you want to find a good dating place for your future girlfriend." I laughed.
"That's not a. . . . .bad idea i guess. Hahaha~"
"Okay then i am going to sleep because i am so tired after a long trip." I was yawning.
"Yeah sure. Good night. Let's meet tomorrow."
"Yeah, goodbye." I hung up the call.
"So, we were talking abo........ Ah! You startled me!" When i looked at her she was too close so I got startled.
"Now tell me who is he? Are you cheating on Hyun Soo?" She glared at me.
"What are you talking about? How can I cheat when i have such a loving boyfriend." I sulked.
"Then who the hell is he?" She rolled her eyes.
"I said it's a long story."
"Then i am all ears." She crossed her arms.
"Ah, for God sake. Okay. . . I will tell you if you will not tell mom and dad."
"Why shouldn't i?" She raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Heya! It's nothing suspicious. Don't glare at me like that. It's just. . .that i don't want them to be worried on an old story.
"Okay. I wouldn't tell them. At least i can do this for you because i am elder than you. And of course that's what are sisters for." She smiled and i gave her a high five.
So, i told her the whole story that started when i came here.

"So, you are saying that he liked you but now he is alright without you." She bit her lips.
"Yeah."
"I don't think so." She put her hand on the chin as she was thinking something important.
"Why?"
"He is just saying that he is okay because deep down he knows that now you have a boyfriend so there isn't any choice for him. But he will be happy from inside when he would find someone like you." I didn't understand what she was saying.
"Someone like me?" I asked with confusion.
"Yeah. Because boys always prefer someone who is a bit similiar to their first love. But the main point is that he needs someone who would love him so that he can understand that you were not for him and there's someone special waiting for him who would love him sincerely." She smiled.
"Woah. What are you? A lecturer who is giving me a lecture on life partner?" We laughed together. "Forget it. I am tired so i am going to sleep." I was feeling sleepy so i went to my room.

I didn't have anything in my mind so i just fell asleep.............
