Everything She Wanted

Day 1

"Come onnn! You'll have fun! Besides, there are a TON of cute guys on there," Allison squeals.
I shake my head and look at the little red square with the white flame, debating on tapping install. Was it really worth it?
"Do it! I'll even look at them with you!" She urges.
I let out a partial laugh, and press install. Allison really shouldn't even be telling me to do this, she hasn't had any luck. In fact, the man she most recently matched with is going to be facing charges in two weeks for what he did to her. As the circle is filling up, signaling the installation, Allison lets out a squeak of excitement. I set my phone down and roll on my side, looking at her.
"You're really excited over this, aren't you?" I question.
She nods her head and gives me a huge smile.
"You're actually going to try it and that's awesome! I can't wait for you to finally get out there! Much better than sitting around and wasting your time putting your nose in those books," she says, muttering the last part as though it put a bad taste in her mouth.
Finally, the installation is complete. I enter my number, password, and upload some pictures. I study them for a minute. I'm really nothing special. Brown hair that flows down to my rib cage, striking blue eyes that really seem sad more than anything. I have an average body, and I don't really find myself attractive. Shaking my head, I scroll down to the information part of the profile. I hesitate at the "bio" section. Hmmm...
"20, open to new experiences and hoping to find someone to spend my free time with. If you like books, that's a bonus."
I go through and add all of the likes and dislikes. Finally, my profile is ready. Allison gets giddy with excitement as she leans over and we start swiping through profiles. Suddenly, a gorgeous blonde haired, brown eyed man's profile appears. He is breathtakingly gorgeous. I take a look at his bio.
"I like walks, animals, and I love reading. I like working out occasionally. Work unfortunately takes up a good majority of my time, but let's see if we can fill that free time."
As I swipe through all of his pictures, Allison lets out an excited giggle.
"What?" I ask, my eyes meeting hers.
"You think he's cute! Swipe right on him!" She exclaims.
I shake my head, roll my eyes, and smile as I swipe right on his profile. Suddenly, a bold message pops up.
"It's a match!"
I shake my head in disbelief, wondering how it can be a match when I just joined. My eyes widen as I look at Allison, and she just grins at me. A message pops up on my notification bar, and my breath hitches. It's him.
"Hey, how're you? I saw your profile and thought you were pretty cute, can we get to know each other?"
Stealing another glance at Allison, who was just as dumbfounded as me, I tap the message.
"Hey, I'm good! I thought you were pretty cute too, I'd love to get to know you," I reply.
Allison gets up off the bed and checks her phone.
"I have to get going, with everything going on I don't want to be out too late. I don't trust him... Or his friends. I'll text you when I make it home safely, okay? And have fun with lover boy!" She hollers as she makes her way out the door.
Letting out a laugh, I yell back.
"Yeah yeah, message me when you get home!"
I look down at my phone, checking to see if Austin responded yet. My heart drops as I realize he went offline. I go to his profile and swipe through his pictures, taking a moment to study his features. He has a few tattoos, and an eyebrow piercing. He's not your typical gym goer, or a typical business man. I look through more of them and see he has a dog, a brown pitbull. A smile dances on my lips as a notification from him finally pops up.
"Sweet, are you free to call for a little bit? I'm finally off work."
My smile grows wider as I grab my headphones. Austin and Lily... How wonderful that sounds. I wonder what our kids would look like if we had any....

Hey guys! So I know this is NOT an update to my other book, but I wanted to get this started while it's fresh in my brain! I took a lot of time to research different things for this book and this is going to be a whole new writing style, experience, and angle that I'm working from! Hopefully you guys will end up liking it!
