The goth and the vamp

Stan's POV:

I walk into my first class of the day, I scan the room and see the bright ginger locks again. Kyle.

I carefully walk up to him and sit right in front of him. Maybe he will notice me. I don't know why I care. We haven't talked in a while anyway. I don't know how I feel anymore.

I sit my stuff down and put my earbuds in, listening to my music. It must've been really loud though because I didn't hear when the teacher was talking.

"Stanley! Stanley Marsh!" He exclaimed while snapping his fingers to get my attention.

I quickly take my earbuds out, feeling my face got hot from embarrassment.

"Sorry sir.." I put my earbuds back into my pocket, my heart still pounding from that sudden reality check. I look behind me and see Kyle softly giggling at that fact and I felt my face get hot again.

He's so cute..wait. NO STAN. DO NOT THINK THOSE THOUGHTS. I AM NOT GAY. In an attempt to wipe the blush off my face, Kyle taps my shoulder and passes me a note.

I open the note to see the message. It said, "How are you doing? We haven't talked in a little while." I felt my face get hot again. He wants to talk to me??!? Holy shit. WHAT DO I SAY???

I calm myself and write under the message, "I'm alright I guess. Could be better. Not very amazing being a goth kid." I pass the note back, basically anticipating the worst. He opened the note and smiled and started writing another response.

He hands the note back to me and we touch hands for a fraction of a second. It was like my heart skipped a beat. AGAIN, I AM NOT FUCKING GAY. STOP THINKING THESE THINGS.

I open the note to see a response that made my face redder than before.

"I think your nails are very pretty though and your hat is too :)" HE THINKS I'M PRETTY!??!?! HOLY SHIT. Calm yourself Stan. He said your NAILS and HAT are pretty. Not you. I take a deep breath and write back. We kept writing for a little while until the class ended.

That was not what I expected at all.
