Just twenty minutes down the street from  the store, was a bar,and I made my way there.

At this point I had stopped crying, forced myself to stop crying, just so the bar tender wouldn't ask me questions.

"What would you like to have?" He asked with annoyance laced in this voice. He didn't want to be here no more than I did,but I needed what I was going to buy and he needed the money,so he could get paid at the end of the month.

"Your strongest bottle of whisky and two shots." I said not lifting the hoodie that covered almost all my face.

"That will be..." He said but someone,a rather old someone, cut him off. He was seating on a bar stool next to were I was standing.

"Princess over here wants some whiskey, huh" He said taking the stray hairs that showed from the hoodie and played with them. I pulled away. "I have something better than whiskey to give you, princess." He said catching everyone's attention, and most of the people in there were old men. Drunk and smelly old men.

I removed his hand and stood two chairs away from him. "Here's the money." I said placing the cash as the bar tender gave me my bottle and shots. I felt the old man's eyes as I downed the shots in one go,not caring to hide the bitter and burning taste on my face.

"Another one"

I said placing the things I'd gotten from the store and the bottle of whisky on the chair next to me and sat on the other.

"Are you sure about that? because this drink is very strong." Said the bartender with a little bit of concern on his face.

Concern? He was concerned about me?

I scoffed at the thought.

"Listen buddy,I know what I'm doing and it's none of your business,so give me what I want and stop asking questions." I said pushing the glass to him and watched him pour another shot.

I downed it in one go as well.

"I like you." The old man said with a grin nodding at the bartender.

I stood up and took my bags to seat as far away from the  man as possible and the only place I could find with few people was a far corner on the right, almost looked deserted, maybe it because of how dark it was.

I choose to overlook all the wrong things in there, from the floor that looked like they hadn't been mopped in days, to the broken lighting, and not to talk about the tables.

As I was about to seat down, with bags already on the table,I noticed something. No, it was someone. A person. Their eyes glued on me.

"What are you looking at? Haven't you see a girl at a bar before?" I said seating down. His back was pushed against the wall ,one arm on the table with palms flat and the other disappeared under the table.

He moved slightly toward the light.

"Oh!"
Was all I could say upon realising it was the guy I bumped into not so long ago.

"Not at this time of the night,no." He said with a straight face. "Well guess I'm the first." I said. There was a long and awkward silence between us,and I couldn't be happier when the bartender arrived to give me a glass, maybe he had noticed that I was not planning on leaving anytime soon.

"I'm sorry for bumping into you earlier and for your spilled ice cream. I never really got to apologize for it." I said with an apologetic smile. He didn't reply and I didn't say anything after that. I had apologized, what more did he want from me.

I ignored that he was seating right next to me and drank my whisky. The taste was revolting but I continued drinking either way and soon enough I was drunk.

A few people had arrived then, from those that looked to have been as old  as I and others younger. The place was a bit packed,I didn't expect anything less on a weekend though. The dance floor,if I may call it that, was filled with people of all ages dancing their life away. I wanted to be like them, free. So I join them.

Standing up at first was hard because I kept going back down, but I pushed my weight off of the chair and stomped to the dance floor with feet that kept criss-crossing and I almost spilled the glass full of whisky I had in my hand

A few minutes after I joined the dance floor, swaying to the rhythm of the music,my glass was abrudely snatched from me and most of what was left in the glass spilled on me.

"How dare you spill my drink?" I roared, already throwing a punch at the nearest person and it landed on a girl that was just as drunk as I was. Maybe she was also drowning her sorrows, just like me.

My face was a bit sore as cold air hit me. "Who are you?" I asked. My voice drained of it's vibrancy and eyes half closed. "Who are you?" I asked the shadow I was seeing only to not get a reply. I stumbled back, trying to take a good look at what I was seeing. Strong hands held on to my waist, keeping me from hitting the floor and the fast movement made me dizzy.

"Oh shit!"

Was the last thing I said before the alcohol cane out, burning my throat and bitter.

VROX's POV

I quietly got out of bed, feet first, to go and take a show.

I reached for my phone on the side table to check the time.

05:00 a.m

"Damnit." I cursed under my breath. I was going to be late for the meeting. This was going to be a first and hopefully the last.

I contemplated waking her up. She looked so peaceful, and if I woke her up she'd probably have to deal with a hangover the whole day.

Wait. Why am I contemplating this?

I walked to the curtains to open them and opened then halfway. The sun had just started to rise.

I took a quick shower, and without drying myself, I took a towel and wrapped it around my wait and went to the bedroom to get my phone, but then she screamed.

"Ahhh!" She screamed in horror, which didn't last very long because she started groaning in pain. "You shouldn't have done that." I said with a faint smile, walking to the bed from the door. "Who are you and what am I doing here? How the hell did I get here? Where am I?" She  asked in utter horror. Her eyes wide open, studying the place. I quietly watched as she jumped out of bed and stook a few feet away from the bed." This is-"  She said running her hands through her messy hair and I don't know how but for some odd reason it had occured to her yet that she was naked.

"Cover up, princess." I said reaching for the bed sheets and threw it at her. She caught it. She crossed her legs and covered her groin. I chuckled. It was funny to watch her cover herself. To think I had to undress her, not because I wanted to, but I had to get her out of the clothed she had on. The smell of alcohol and vomit off them was nevertheless to say revolting, and they had a few stains of blood, from the mess she started.

She blushed. "D-did we-" She stuttered. "Have sex?" I finished it for her and she nodded her head slowly. "No. I don't take advantage of drunk woman." I said walking to the bed side table and took the phone. "If I had fucked you, princess, you wouldn't have been able to jump out of bed the way you did, or walk." I said looking back before going out of the bedroom to get dressed.

She cleared her throat as I walked away and I couldn't help but laugh to myself.
