«Aaarrrghh I fucked up.. » Angelo says the moment he steps out mister foot's classroom, Completely hopeless he turns to his friends, « the only thing I wrote on that exam was my name. Im telling you, mister foot makes my exams harder than the rests» he continues.
Sherwood shakes his head chuckling « calm down buddy » it's easy for him to say, no one ever beats him when it comes to school grades. He is the best student of the 11th grade after all.
Lola is barely listening to them, she's scrolling through twitter, following the new Taylor swift and billie eilish fandom scandal.
«Calming down ?? Are you serious, My mom's gonna kill me! I just want to turn back the time to where we didn't have to worry about our grades, and always had time to do our pranks. »
«Well unlike you I always worried about my grades» Sherwood interrupts angelos main–character speech.
Angelo sighs «yeah well you're a nerd.. »
«hey!.» Sherwood slightly pushes Angelos shoulder and they both start to laugh
Now lola joins the laughter, «you Angelo want the old time back? » she raises her eyebrows at him, «Then bring the pranks back you did on tracy, but apparently you two are in love now so you wouldn't do that..?» she rolls her eyes sarcastically thinking back of the summer camp where they got locked in a room together and came out behaving a little too friendly.
Sherwood laughs at Lola's reaction, «that's called enemies to lovers, Lola»
«Oh so you want me and tracy to break up? » Angelo teases her, Sherwood starts laughing a little louder and grabs angelos shoulder making him laugh aswell.
Lola gasps «NO wait that's not what I meant ang-» Lola tries to explain making her guy friends laugh even louder.
«relax I'm just teasing» he says barely catching a breath before two hands appear from behind, leaning on his shoulders. «Hello, angelo.»
«and there she is» Lola says leaning on her locker, giving Sherwood a look.
«bonjour» angelo says sarcastically and pulls tracy closer. He gives her a quick kiss on the cheek and puts his arm around her. «how are the exams? »
«it was okay I finished quickly, so I got out earlier, how'd it go for you?»
«terrible.» he replies without hesitation. «a literal hell!! Tell your uncle not to give me harder exams than the others.»
His girlfriend and his friends start to laugh, Tracy puts her hand on his cheeks, «Ang' you're 17 now, you need to realize, from nothing comes nothing you stupid dumbass.»
Lola raises her eyebrows not expecting finding herself agreeing with Tracy.
Angelo sighs. «Study date? »
«study date. » she confirms.
Angelo smiles and kisses her again «Thank you muffin»
Tracy rolls her eyes at his teasing pet name
„astagfirullah" Sherwood says and turns around.
They all start to laugh out loud «I'll better go now, your Highschool relationship make's me sick» he says disgusted.
«it's not just some Highschool relationship, I will invite you to our wedding you'll see» angelo says. Tracy laughs, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, she is for a fact dating the corniest guy alive.

It's been a while since they arrived at angelos house,they already went through multiple subjects, history, Spanish, physics, english, and there could've been even more if Angelo didn't have a mental breakdown in the middle of it all
«I can't do this anymore» he puts his head in his hands «school is stressing me the fuck out. Everyone thinks I'm joking but I'm so done with this all. I'm a failure I'm an idiot» his voice breaks,
«Angelo it's okay. Your grades don't have to be perfect, just do as much as you can, what matters is that you try.» Tracy wants to bite her tongue off, of course what she just said doesn't apply to herself, but Aslong as it helps her boyfriend in some way, she'll try to say it as nice as possible.
«Pretend it's like one of your plans » she continues.
Angelo smiles looking up at the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
«And even tho you are an idiot, you're my idiot.»Tracy sighs knowing she sounds just as corny as him.
«tracy.»
«hm?»
«hold me please.»

«Dinner is ready— » Angelos father stops abrupt and stares at the scene in front of him, «oh greetings Tracy, I wasn't aware you'd visit us today» he says, ignoring the cuddly position Angelo and Tracy are in.
Tracy and Angelo fix their positions and sit straight, «sorry, we were studying» tracy points at the books laying on Angelos bed,
Angelos father smiles, «I'm glad you're studying Ang', but now come to dinner would you? Tracy can join us as well.»
Tracy smiles thanking but turns to Angelo as soon as his father leaves.
«should I leave?— »
«no.»
He grabs her hand and guides her to the dinner table.

Angelo plays around with his food, chewing but not swallowing it.
«well — what a beautiful surprise to have you here tracy» Angelos mom tries to cheer up the situation.
«it's good that you both are Such good friends now! You hangout so often which surprises me» she adds.
Elena rolls her eyes «yeaah.. what a switch up» she says, thinking back of the time they teamed up against him. «betrayer» she whispers in Tracy direction.
Angelo sighs, «were dating. »
Tracy almost spit out her food.
«not a nice way to announce a relationship. » she groans.
The room fills with silence. Until Angelos dad decides to breaks it,
«Uhm congrats?» Angelos mom pinches his arm, « UHM Do your parents know about uhh this as well tracy? » he adds.
Tracy and angelo give him a furious stare as if he just said "Harry Potter" in Hogwarts.
«oh— I'm sorry » he tries to fix, but angelos mom jumps in, «Does foot know about it? »
«I don't know» she begins, «well it's private but not a secret, we're not really changing our behaviour at school, he might be ignoring it tho.»
Angelos mother sighs, «hm I see. good luck you two»
Everyone seems to be relieved for a second,
«So for how long have you two been dating?» Angelos dad asks.
He's not even sure if he wants to know the answer, after all he wants his son to be honest with him and tell him stuff immediately, but what if it has been going on for months,
Angelos father could get a headache from all the overthinking, until Angelo finally responds to his question.
«A year »
« A YEAR ? » his parents repeat.
The Silence returns.
« yeah since summer camp last year »
Tracy sinks in her chair, praying to whatever is up there, to just make her boyfriend shut the fuck up.
«yea and if you excuse Me — Us, We will continue studying for now-»
Tracy coughs as she gets up, «no actually, if you'd excuse me I have somewhere to be. Thank you for the food but I just got a message from my uncle, see you — someday.»
She picks up her bag that she had carried with her, and leaves as quick as she can, not waiting for a response, not looking back.
Angelo made her go through 20 minutes of hell, 20 minutes too much.
She turns off her phone, not planning to text Angelo until she slept at least 5 hours.
She wasn't exactly mad at him, or maybe she is, but she just wish she could forget everything that just happened within seconds.
