Jay hadn't seen or even heard from Tim since their argument a couple of weeks ago... Well, that was until Jay found himself waking up in a disheveled shed in the middle of Rosswood. He felt like his head was going to split open, trying to open his eyes and regain his bearings... How did he get here? The last thing he remembered was T- that white masked guy chasing him and knocking him out when he went to search for Tim. The contents of the video someone had uploaded to his channel made Jay feel sick. He wanted to help Tim, and as a result, he got knocked out.
Jay slowly shifted onto his knees, standing up as his joints popped and cracked. He felt a harsh, stabbing pain in his side as he stumbled onto his feet... Great, a broken rib was exactly what he wanted right now. Amazing. Jay sighed in annoyance as he bent over to pick up his camera, securing his hand through the strap as he made his way out of the shed. He coughed as he tried to breathe in the semi-fresh air, his lungs on fire. He wasn't actually sure if his rib was broken or not, but not being able to breathe properly was probably something he needed to get checked out. Jay looked around a bit, making sure he pointed his camera at everything he was looking at. Where the hell was he? Was he still in Rosswood? Jay didn't get to think too far into it though when he heard a groan from nearby. He immediately moved towards the sound. Someone was here... He turned the corner around the shed, pointing the camera at the ground... Tim?
Jay watched as Tim sat up slowly, his eyes unfocused and hazy. He held his head for several seconds before he stopped, hearing the leaves crunch behind him. Jay was the first thing he noticed when he turned around.
"What are you doing here?"
Jay hesitated, panning his camera around as he tried to figure out where here even was.
"I don't know."
Jay swallowed hard, turning back to Tim before pointing his camera at the shed again.
"I just woke up in there..."
"Where are we?"
Jay huffed a chuckle as he watched Tim stand up and stumble past him, clearly disoriented. That seemed to be the million-dollar question, didn't it?
"I think we're still in Rosswood, but not a part that I've ever been in."
Tim went ahead of Jay, wanting to leave as soon as possible. Despite still being mad at Jay, he was honestly grateful that he was around right now. He had somewhat of an idea of what happened, but his thoughts were too scattered to really think about it. If Jay wasn't here though, he would probably have been out here for hours if not days without a clue as to where he was... Jay being coherent was good.
Tim kept trudging along as Jay wandered behind him slowly, looking at the shed again. Tim had left his line of sight when he turned around.
"Wait!"
Jay took off through the brush to get to Tim. He was way too out of it for Jay to let him go on his own. Jay caught up to Tim and watched him crouch down on the dirt road they had walked onto to collect himself for a moment. Jay was still unsure if Tim believed him when he said that he just woke up here, seeing as he had his camera in his hand like always. He cleared his throat tiredly... he really needed an aspirin.
"My... My camera was just in front of me... when I woke up."
Tim spun around for a moment before turning back to Jay.
"Is it still working?"
"Yea, but the battery is almost de-"
The camera was dead. Jay cursed under his breath as Tim ran his fingers through his hair, combing it back a bit. He had a charger in his car, but right now it was a matter of getting there. Arm slumped down to his side, he began to walk. Tim watched in confusion as Jay walked away, looking over his shoulder to make sure Tim was following. Tim, tired and unsure of what else he could really do, followed suit.
