* ETHAN's point of view *

Yeah. It's not easy having a negligent father, well, some would say he's beyond negligent. So I might be sugarcoating. As, by law, he's considered an abuser. Anyway, i'm known for two things in this world. One being that i'm a no-good sixteen year old boy who's poor, Two being that i'm really good at lying.
While i'm not sure when I picked up my skills, I can lie my way out of almost any situation. Whether that be me getting caught smoking weed in the bathroom, or speculations of me being involved with drug dealing. I can always lie. I'm also just overall amazing at pretending. I mean, the only way to get through this damned world is throwing yourself a little pity party.
Obviously there are people have caught on, but i'm a master of manipulation, you come at me with accusations? I return my tears and sobs, which, apparently work perfectly on authorities.
Pushing my bowl forward, I stand up, swinging my backpack over my shoulder. Time for the worst thing ever created— school— or as some might argue, hell.
