I walked towards the mirror my red cloak swaying closely behind me. I reached up and put the hood over my head. My outfit was finally complete.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

A long red cloak and white dress. It fit perfectly for what I was going for. My lips were colored red and my hair was hidden beneath the hood.

The sound of the doorbell caught me from my trance.

The door unlocked and I could hear the excited children from upstairs.

"TRICK OR TREAT!"

I walked slowly to the railing and leaning on it I looked down. Two younger girls waited wearing princess costumes.

My eyes flickered to the grumpy man who opened the door. The kids seemed a bit nervous but were more concerned about the candy.

He fumbled with a bowl and reaching in with his furry hands he gave both the kids handfuls of candy.

"Happy halloween."

The girls giggled before rushing off.

He closed the door with a sigh and set the bowl down.

A smile stretched across my face, "Aw they adore you."

He stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"No they adore candy now come downstairs."

He smiled lightly and then turned for the living room.

I giggled and hurried down the stairs.

He stretched himself out on the couch and motioned for me to come over.

"Ah I'm not so sure about that one Mr. Big Bad Wolf."

The man huffed and rolled his eyes.

"Don't tell me I've got to dress up as grandma to get you to trust me."

"Promise you won't eat me?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Promise."

My smile stretched and I slowly made my way. Bending down I gripped onto his shoulders and draped my leg over his side.

My body dropped on top of his and his arms instantly wrapped around me. Another giggle left my lips as I snuggled into his chest.
