Heather's POV
As Lily led me past the red carpet, I immediately stopped, making Lily stumble backwards and into me.
"Hey! What was that for?" Lily asked whilst brushing herself off.
I just stared as my idol, Taylor Swift, posed for the cameras! I hoped I could meet her!! Fangirl moment.
"Eeeeek! It's Taylor! It's Taylor!" I squealed, jumping up and down.
"Okay calm down. They are just celebrities, other people just like u- OMG OMG OMG IT'S ONE DIRECTION!" She pushed me to the side and ran up to the side of the red carpet, screaming like there was no tomorrow.
Who is the one who needs to calm down now hmmm?
I tapped my foot impatiently as Lily tried - unsuccessfully - to grab hold of one of those poor boys.
My eyes scanned over them, lined up shoulder to shoulder. My eyes lingered on the last one- sandy brown hair and warm brown eyes.
I dragged Lils away from any further embarrassment, and we walked in, following the row printed on our tickets. My mouth grew wider and wider the closer we got to the stage. We ended up right in the second row, only 15 feet from the stage!
"Whoa Lils, you have a generous manager!" I said my eyes widening in surprise and excitement.
"I know. You should meet him someday!" She replied. Then she gasped. "OMG that would be a good idea!" She kept making loud noises and I had to shush her since the curtains were opening and a hush came over the crowd. We all have that one friend....
"Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the 74th annual Video Music Awards! We hope you enjoy the show!" A voice came from speakers above our heads, and I settled into my seat, ready to enjoy my view.
