Kaname's eyes widened as the smell of blood hit his sensitive nose."What's the matter, Kaname-kun?"Kaien asked, looking at Kaname in wonder and confusion as Kaname turned and faced the door.

"The smell of blood..."Kaien's eyes widened as Kaname ran out of the room, slamming the doors open as he did.

Kaien stood up."Kaname-kun!"Kaien yelled after the Pureblood Vampire but was ignored.

"Yuki, I..."Zero trailed off as she looked back at Yuki, who continued to stare at her with wide eyes, waiting for Zero to explain herself.

Luck seemed to be on her side, or at least partly on Zero's side, when they all heard the voice of Kaname call out;"Yuki?"in a questionably and worried voice and they all turned to see the Kuran Pureblood on the first floor, making his way up to the second floor.

"K-Kaname-sempai."Yuki gasped out, startled by the Pureblood's appearance. Byakuya's grip, which had loosened on Zero, tightened again, causing the silverette to glance up at him, only to find that her Husband was glaring at Kaname, who was looking back at them with a look of surprise, confusion, and anger.

Zero could guess that the surprise was from finding a Pureblood in his territory, confusion at the way she was being held by the, unknown, Pureblood, as if Zero was his Lover, which she was, and anger was most likely due to the scent of Yuki's blood.

Kaname's gaze narrowed as he noticed that on one of Zero's fingertips, she had blood on them, Yuki's blood, and he met Zero's gaze calmly. 

"So, out of craving for blood, you turned into a Beast and tried to attack Yuki."

Kaname, who was now standing in front of Yuki protectively, was partly insulting Zero when he used the word; Beast, since Zero frequently called the Night Class, and every other Vampire that she seemed to meet, Beasts, but Zero didn't even flinch at the insult.

Before Yuki, who had remembered how she first met Kaname and knew that Kaname would try to kill Zero, had time to put herself between her savior and Brother, she saw the unknown man gently push Zero behind him in a protective way.

"Back down, boy."The unknown man growled out in a warning voice.

"You are an unknown Pureblood Vampire"Yuki's eyes widened at the word; Pureblood and she wondered if this was the Vampire who turned her Brother."in my territory and you are telling me to back down?"Kaname hissed out, his eyes narrowed dangerously as he looked at the man."Who are you and why are you here?"

Byakuya stared at Kaname coldly before glancing at Zero briefly, whose eyes widened when she realised that Byakuya was going to reveal the truth, then turned back to Kaname.

"My name is-He's no one important!"Zero suddenly cut Byakuya off and she darted in front of him, gaining Kaname's and Yuki's attention, before she suddenly lost her footing when her heart suddenly missed a beat, causing her to gasp out of surprise, rather then shock, and her eyes hazed over as familiar emotions, that weren't her own, suddenly bloomed in her chest.

This is our bond... I must have reawakened my side when I drank Byakuya's blood... Zero realised as her eyes slid shut.

"Zero!"Yuki exclaimed and darted out from behind Kaname, who seemed to be too shocked to try and stop the silverette from falling, to catch Zero, but the unknown man got to the silverette first and held her close.
