This is Lofia, the saber tooth tiger. I decided to "sexualize" her since her breed already sounds hot.
Felix grabs my arms and pushes me back, making me almost lose my balance.
"Wait! Lofia, we're just here for information," he says, with panic in his voice.
"What kind of information? I'm not Sherlock or Einstein you know," she says, stepping closer.
"It's abo-"
"Uh- let the bunny say it," she says, transforming into a human.
I step forward and her eyes look menacing, which causes my heart to pound in my throat.
"Well go ahead," she says, extending her arm out for me to proceed.
"A gang of wolves came out of nowhere and kidnapped my friend Ha-"
"Names?" She interrupts.
"I- um. Madison and Grey," I say, stumbling over my words.
"Hm," she says. "Doesn't ring a bell, but I'll find something. Come inside."
Felix and I exchange glances before we proceed. Her house has wind chimes with animal tails of all sorts hanging at the bottom. Not Carnivore tails. Herbivore tails.
"This is like Hansel and Gretel, but instead of luring the carnivores with candy, I lure them in with the scent of herbivores," she says, as she opens up her door.
"But why?" I ask.
"Because," she says, stepping aside to let us in. "It makes the business flow better. A carnivore that eats meat can't help but to stop by to see what I have in store for them."
"Just don't get on her bad side," whispers Felix.
"No," she says, chuckling to herself. "You don't want to do that. Come in. Don't be shy. My fangs are hidden."
I step inside slowly, and look around.
Her lamp string is made out of a baby fox's tail, her sofa pillows are sheep's fur, her rug is raccoon fur, and her coat rack is made out of the nails of an anteater, all molded together. How many nails did it take to make that thing? It has to be worth a lot.
"You like?" asks Lofia. "I don't like people staring at my stuff but not saying anything out loud. Makes it look like they got something they don't wanna say, you know?"
I nod my head, fake smiling at her. "It looks lovely," I lie.
"Really?" She presses a hand to her breasts. "I'm touched that a herbivore finds my taste in furniture lovely."
"Stop teasing her," says Felix. "Don't you have something to do?"
"How much is it gonna cost?" I interrupt.
Lofia looks at me up and down slowly. "Nothing."
I stare at her baffled. "I'm sorry?"
"Nothing." She says, laughing as if it's not a big deal. "Felix is on really good terms with me. I'd kill for him. He's like a brother."
"Oh...wow," I say, looking back at Felix to see if this is true, and he nods his head along to what she is saying.
"Come into my kitchen. This is where we get into the nitty gritty, children," she says, pushing a curtain full of colorful beads out of the way.
