I stared blankly at the fence. I had lost all sense of hope. There's no way out. I'm trapped. My knees gave out and I landed on the rocky soil with a loud "THUMP". I lay flat on the ground, and I would usually have felt a tear stream down my porcelain cheeks. But something was different. I no longer felt sadness all together. The alarms were sounding back at the building and I heard feet footsteps progressively getting louder and closer.

The staff lifted me off the ground and carried me in, and up to my room. I figured that it was officially time to give up on everything. I might as well go with the flow off things here. After I was in my room for quite some time, some nurses put me back on a gurney and wheeled me downstairs. They took me into a cold and dark room. In the middle of the room, there was a chair, and above it was a giant rusted pipe. They sat me in the chair and tightened the belt-like restraints.

"What's going on?" I asked nervously. "We are just going to run some tests. Sit back and relax. Just don't look up." The nurse said. I saw their sillohettes fade as they walked away. Within a few seconds, cold water doused down on me. The weight of the water was making it very difficult to sit still. I was shivering and I was drenched. I was also still fully clothed.

I will never forget that day. After that point, being doused was an ongoing thing that they did to me. Over time, I started to adjust, even though the cruel tortuous things they did, pained me. On September 17, 1883, we received a new patient (or as I would call them; prisoner.) I didn't know her name, but she seemed like she was just like me. There was nothing wrong with her either.

When it was time for our lunchtime, (which consisted of half-rotten fish, canned peas, and water.) I sat down next to her. I asked what her name was. She turned to me and said "Raven Vamps, and you are?" "Eliza Fern. So why are you here?" I questioned. "Well I tried to murder my family, if that's what you were expecting." She said fondly. "Oh, how interesting... I'm here because I wanted to experiment on my family!" I added. "Really? Awesome!!! So you seem normal, like me. We need to find a way out of here together." She concluded. "Indeed." I stated.
