A/N:

Hi all! Sorry it's been so long in between updates, but I hope we enjoy this one. I do want to say that this chapter gets very dark as it mentions inferences of sexual assault, incest, and suicide! Please be mindful and safe as you consume this chapter! Thank ya for all the support! x.

Nora returned to London with haste and the first thing she did was smoke a cig in the bath. She didn't want to loop Elliot in, because she knew what Elliot would do. Elliot would be brave, and make his way to Jew territory and try to kill Alfie and Nora knew Alfie had no problem being the one to subdue Elliot and put a bullet in his head. She wanted nothing more than to forget about it, and that was exactly what she did as she returned to her duties back in London. These next few weeks had Nora immersed, having to deal with more duties in the name of the family business, but her mother was insisting she return to Arrow House.

"He's not well, Eleanora. Your cousin needs you, he's only worsened since you've left. Charlie hasn't slept through the night either. He asks for you."

Nora sighs into the phone receiver. Charlie. She was so caught up in her own hurt she had forgotten the poor child. "I will come to see Charlie and Charlie only at the end of the week, only for the weekend. Will you be there?" "I'll be there. Are you alright? You haven't said a word about Solomons."

Nora shrugs, "What is there to say? I wish I did more damage. I hate that he and Tommy are doing some type of illegal business that no one wants me involved in-" "It's better you and Michael stay out of these things, you know that. It's always been that way." "Yeah well-"

All of a sudden, Nora hears commotion from outside her office, causing her gut to jump. "Mum, let me call you back." She hangs up and rushes out of her office to the main floor where she finds the girls standing on the side watching silently as Elliot has a pistol drawn in front of none other than Alfie Solomons.

"Oh hello love! It's nice to see you again, so soon!" Alfie locks eyes with Nora with a sly grin on his face, as Elliot turns to his fiancee heartbroken, "Again?"

Nora rolls her eyes, " Tommy ambushed me with the bastard at Arrow House a few weeks back."

"You know how it goes lad, business and what not. Anyway love, I was just catching up with your fiance here-"

"Get out." Elliot said, pistol pointed right at the midpoint of his forehead. Nora just stood there for a moment confused. "Apologies, mate. Not until I talk to your darling missus, we have business-"

"If you wish to discuss your business with the Shelbys then you can speak to me, there's no reason you would have to speak to sorciere-" "Ella." Alfie's eyes glance over to Nora's. She narrows her eyes at him. This wasn't about Shelby business, yet her gut told her that he was going to say something that she needed to hear. She slowly approaches her fiance and taps his shoulder, "C'mere my love."

She delicately pulls him aside and caresses his chin voice soft, "It's alright, I'll talk to him." "Nora-" "I'll be fine." "Let me be there with you-" "You know that won't bode well. I don't know what he wants, but the sooner he gets it, the sooner he's on his way-" "And if he wants you?"

Nora sighs hoarsely tilting her head, "Then you can put a bullet through his head." She smiles. Elliot's lips part into a smirk as he pulls Nora into a passionate kiss, assuring the Jewish man that he had lost her for good. Alfie rolled his eyes tapping his cane, desperately wanting to stop the sight before him. It angered him more than he'd admit. The incessant cane tapping caused the two to break their kiss. Elliot throws a wink at Nora that causes her to chuckle. She was calm as she approached Alfie, serious demeanor on her face.
