I stared at them in disbelief. "Please tell me your joking." I think I started shaking. "Please!" I yelled. "No honey, we're not. But the boy's mom has been kind enough to start the marriage a little bit sooner and let us move in with them." My dad said, and I could tell that he was about to cry. "Oh daddy!" I ran over to the couch and wrapped my arms around him. I know he loves this house, he was born and raised in it, and so was I. He kissed my forehead gently. My parents told me to start packing, that we had the rest of this week to prepare, and then we had to leave. I walked back up the stairs and opened my bedroom door. When I got in, I walked to my closet to look for a couple suitcases and bags. I started packing the necessities such as my toothbrush and toothpaste, my teddy bear, my makeup, my scarfs, sunglasses, and my hats, my sketch pencils and sketchbook, a few pictures, and my shoes. After a while, I got bored and laid down on my bed. I can't believe that I've been evicted from the only home that I've ever known. I flipped my phone open and texted Jesse and Matt, my best friends. I told them to meet me at the food court at our local mall at 11. Then, I quickly tossed my phone on my bed and walked to my closet. I picked out my favorite brown hat, a white long sleeved T-shirt, and a pair of brown shorts that match my hat to wear. I walked back down the stairs and grabbed some money from my mom's wallet and shouted as I was leaving "I'm going to the mall with my friends! Love you!" And I was out the door.
