Chapter Three

      She made her way quickly to the women's bathroom just at the end of the hall, sighing once she entered. She set her stuff down on the side of the sink, looking at herself in the mirror as she caught her bearings. She loved acting with all her heart, but she knew that it took a toll on her somewhat, especially with things like this. She couldn't help it. She wanted to overcome the sad horrible feelings she got after she would act as an angry or evil person. Livian splashed some water on her face, sighing as she let the coolness of the liquid sit before taking a paper towel to dry her face. She reached into her bag and grabbed out a tube of mascara and the tube of lip plumping gloss. After applying them both, she made her way out of the bathroom as if nothing had happened, as if she wasn't getting attacked by the painful memories of her father she wished she could forget.

Cate finished up after her last class of the day, putting her suit jacket over her arm as she grabbed her purse and her personal items. She felt exhausted. Sure, the classes went by quickly, but acting for her is sometimes emotionally draining, especially after the little skit with Livian. That girl. Cate didn't know what she thought about her. She was always able to read over someone, but Livian was a mystery to her. She walked out of the auditorium and shut the door behind her, looking over all the students that crowded the hallway, trying to quickly leave the school. She fixed her bag on her shoulder and started to walk, taking a glimpse of Livian, who was pressed against Josh's body.

She didn't know why she felt so.... jealous. Livian was her student. There was no way anything could happen. Right? Cate sighed. She thought about the movie she had acted in a good bit back, Notes on a Scandal. She didn't want to end up like Sheba Hart, caught and put in prison. She didn't want her life to end up ruined, and that is what would happen if she didn't control herself. Livian looked, noticing Cate's gaze which made Cate hurry to look away and make her way to the exit of the building.

Cate didn't want Livian to suspect anything. Which rushing out like this probably didn't help that. She made her way out of the building, mixing in with the students as she walked the little ways to her vehicle. Since she was here at school, Cate didn't want any of her bodyguards following her around, just so she could try to fit in. When she would be out in public, she would have a low profiled man watch over her just in case of an emergency, and when she went to movie premieres or to a set of a movie she was in, she would let her original bodyguard follow her.

She got into her car with a sigh, flipping down the visor to examine herself in the small mirror. She examined herself as she reached into her purse, sighing as she grabbed her mascara, touching up the light coat of the black on her eyelashes, putting the small travel sized tube back into her bag as she started the vehicle. She put the car into reverse as she looked back through her back glass, backing out the parking space then drove off the school property. She needed to run a few errands to pick up some groceries for the apartment.

After about ten minutes, Cate arrives at the local supermarket. She had sent a text to her lower profiled protector, sighing as she put the car in park next to his. She got out of the car, the man not taking long to get out of his own car. She started walking towards the entrance of the supermarket, looking at her phone as her second son, Roman, had texted her.

Roman:

hey mom. I was just checking in on you. we can't wait till we are all able to come see you! Edith asks about you a lot. So does Iggy. Dash hasn't been around much with his school and all, but I'm sure he cares as much as we do. Anyway, school should be finished within the next 2 weeks. Which means we will be able to go over there... Right? Reply as soon as you can. x
