The next few days were so blissful. Even with the paps being hot on us everywhere we went, we learned to make the best of it.
We went ice skating, which drove Harry completely insane with how overprotective he got.
"Baby, slow, slow." He said, guiding me with the walker rental he got. I couldn't help but giggle, and playfully go faster. The doctor had cleared me yesterday to be able to do this yet he was still freaking out.
"Haz, I'm fine. I want to at least have fun while doing this."
He skated behind me, and we both held on to the walker together, "I don't want you to hurt yourself."
"You're going to drive me insane Harold." I said slowing us to a stop, and turning around, "Please. Just let me enjoy this." I pouted softly and he sighed deeply, skating to my side.
"Fine, but please be careful."
We went Christmas tree shopping with Gemma and Anne.
"It has to be bigger than last year." Gemma said to Harry who had his arm over my shoulder.
"Gem, last year basically touched the ceiling." Harry laughed.
"Wider then! I just want it big!" Gem said looking around at the trees.
"Maggie imagine if we had a tree this big at home? It wouldn't even fit through the front door." Becca laughed.
"We always just prop a tiny one on a table and call it a day. Who knows, maybe next year we will finally get a bigger one. Not this big obviously." I smiled at Harry.
"We will have our baby girl here next year. Her first Christmas, so we have to make it big." He kissed my forehead softly.
"I found it! This is the one, Haz. Mum, what do you think?" Gemma said hugging Anne.
"I agree Gem, it's beautiful." She smiled.
"Alright. Then it's settled. Let me go pay for it." Harry said, letting go of me and taking the tag off the tree to go pay for it.
Anne and I went into town and shopped around for Christmas decorations.
"Maggie, look at this one." She smiled big, holding up a cute pink ornament with the words, 'My First Christmas' on it.
"Oh, that's the cutest one of them all." I smiled taking it in my hand. It had a beautiful pearl touch to it. Anne and I had been looking for the perfect one, and this one took the cake.
"What if it's not a girl?" I said, peeking up at her.
"Well then Harry would say we still approve of the pink." She smiled and I laughed softly.
"That's true." I smiled at the ornament again, "Okay, let's get this one. And then go grab some food. I'm starved."
Today, I had somehow convinced Harry to let me go shopping on my own. I needed to buy everyone's gift, and didn't want to have to hide every little thing I bought. Thankfully, Harry had made sure Mike, my new body guard came to London with us, just in case.
I was thankful that Mike understood my need for space and kept a good distance between us as I shopped. I picked out a beautiful scarf for Anne, a couple of band tees Gemma had been raving about from a vintage shop she and Becca had liked last time we were here, and a small YSL purse for Becca, her first designer anything.
When it came to Harry, I just couldn't figure out what to get him. Nothing felt like enough. I walked through the vintage store, glancing slowly over everything. I chewed on my lower lip, feeling really uncertain I would find anything for him.
Finally in the back, a old record player caught my eye. It reminded me so much of the Harry's House concept art he had showed me, a perfect shade of green I knew he would love.
"Mike, can you help me carry this to the front please?"
"Of course Miss Maggie. For Harry?" He smiled at me helping me take it to the front to pay.
"Mhm, you think he'll like it?"
"It's from you Miss, I'm sure he will." He smiled and I returned it.
"Mike, one last thing." I said as he placed down the record player.
"Yes Miss Maggie."
"Just call me Maggie, okay?" He laughed and nodded.

By the time we got back in the car I was exhausted. Today had been the most activity I had done in a while. I leaned my head against the door and sighed softly. I held my stomach and closed my eyes, allowing myself to doze off.
