"Don't you dare carry me, Legosi." The Deer was furious at the even thought that the wolf would carry him. Louis and Zoe had gotten deep into their scenes when in absent-mindedness, Zoe stepped onto the edge of the stage. He would have nearly fallen if Louis had not jumped in between.

In the fall he had landed on a twisted foot, that took the brunt of the fall. He could hardly walk yet rejected any tries of helping him, shuffling over the floor with strained breaths. It was bizarre to the wolf to see Louis being reduced to something so little if he normally was so proud and stood so tall.

They accompanied the deer back to his room, and him constantly refusing the thought of going to the nurse's office. He treated any thought of taking care of the injury as a personal insult that was meant to belittle him. Legosi found his behavior to be normal for him, even if he identified the foolishness in not treating the apparent injury. His ankle was swollen and he struggled with even putting pressure on it for a mere second, his walking speed having reduced to a crawl. Legosi had to take minuscule steps in order to stay with the two, his normal anxious strut being twice if not thrice as fast as whatever Louis was doing.

"I can't believe I did that... I'm dead... I'm so dead!" Zoe was beating himself up with words all the while back to his room, Legosi taking the courtesy of following the goat back to his room.

"It was his choice to jump in the way." Legosi tried his best to alleviate Zoe's woes however he wasn't sure he was managing to do much.

"I caused it, I caused another delay, I'm gonna be delegated to the Stage crew just like Kai." Legosi ignored the goat's subtle insult of his part in the theater production and thought a little harder about how to try to change Zoe's mind.

"We were only there because he wanted us to, in the end, it's his fault." Again it fell on deaf ears.

"I should've just learned my goddamn lines... this is all my fault."

"Zoe." His voice was firmer now and the Goat looked up at the wolf who was crouching down to his level.

"You didn't kill Tem... you just got assigned a role and actors need time to get into their roles. It's not your fault." Legosi cast a shadow onto the goat's face, making deciphering his emotions a bit difficult in the non-consistent light.

"I just feel so terrible... about it all." Zoe opened his dorm door and took a step inside, he stopped to look at the wolf.

"Uhhh, thanks Legosi... for being a lookout and all..."

He shrugged at the goat with a small smile.

"You're welcome."

And with that, the door to Zoe's room closed and Legosi went slack, his limbs pulling to the floor as he did his best not to fall over himself. He was tired and wanted little else than to fall dead asleep on his bed. So he began wandering over to his room more akin to a zombie or a person under trance than a person.

He stumbled to his dorm and opened the door, walking into the dark room, nothing but the moon shining from the window giving ambient lighting. He closed the door and took off his shoes, placing them in the shoe compartment in the wardrobe, and then began to take off his uniform.

After throwing his clothes in his laundry bin he took his gym clothes, his preferred sleepwear, and then stumbled over to his bed. Jack's curtains were drawn, and he sat in his bed reading a manga. His collection was quite big when it came to his collection of Westeroes. He owned so many cards and even more mangas of them, sometimes Legosi asked himself if the creator of that story would ever run out of material to write about.

"Rough night?" Jack asked, now looking at his friend intently. Legosi just looked blankly at Jack.

"Yeah... drama club stuff... I'm really tired."

"Well have a good night then, Legosi."

"You too, Jack." He sunk into his bed as he heard the curtains close in Jack's bunk. He closed his own curtains and then laid his head on the pillow and began sweeping away just at the moment his eyes had closed.

His nose was tickled by smells beyond his comprehension as his world turned into a spectacular show of light and lightness. He opened his eyes to the night sky adorned by bright pink clouds. He felt light like cotton, his form barely being heavy enough to stay on the ground.

The moonlight shone down from the skies like a giant searchlight, finding the earth through the infinity of space. He walked past endless rows of pink roses and yellow tulips until the endless stone path lead to the water feature.

In the light of the bright moon and the taste of rose in the air, the fountain looked like it was chiseled out of pure white marble. He found the clear water to be calling to him in enchanting voices as soon the light around the feature began glowing brighter than the surrounding stone path.

Suddenly the blinding light got ever so much brighter until his entire vision was white, and although it was blinding, he had no urge to close his eyes. They were not irritated by the light which seemed to spread across him like the warmth of a blanket. When the light subsided there was a figure sitting on the water feature.

In the light of the pink-clouded dreamscape, she looked like a goddess. Her fur shone, contrasting against the many pink and red roses behind her, her cream fur accentuating her face much like a carpet leading up to her eyes. She was wearing her uniform, pristine white shining in the moonlight. She was kicking her feet, smiling to herself, her tail swinging behind her.

Then she turned to look at him and he staggered nearly. Her purple eyes pierced everything he was and ever wanted to be. She could see deep into him and see who he was, not what his physical form showed but what his character truly was. She saw every part of him and then giggled to herself. Not a giggle of maliciousness but one of just appreciation. Legosi watched the beautiful wolfess jump to her feet and approach him.

He stood perfectly still, his mind a blank as to what to do with himself. He was just a wolf, nothing special. No idiot yet no genius, he just was. And as he looked at her beautiful form in her pure white uniform she held out her hand turning her wrist rhythmically as melodies played out through the night.

Legosi looked at her hand then looked at her and saw those beautiful amethyst eyes once again pierce everything he could ever be. And then he felt his hand take hers and the melodies intensified tenfold. And then they danced...

They danced every feeling against the wall, leaving Legosi high and dry of sadness while filled with this feeling he had never felt before. He felt warm and alive, fulfilled by the dancing by her side. Hormones shot through his mind as his pulse increased. He felt like he could take on the world and yet didn't want any of it...

He wanted to be by her, hold her tight and cherish her for the happiness she brought. He wanted nothing but her.

"Legosi!"

The voice of his white-furred friend rumbled him from his dream. He sat up looking through the pushed-back curtains, seeing his friends In various stages of dress.

He yawned while Collot pulled him to his feet, the wolf in stand towering over most of his roommates. He rubbed his eyes, the world seemingly consisting of only light and dark for a second.

"Any of you studied for the math test." Durham was putting on his dress shirt.

"I didn't" Legosi replied, still groggily wishing to sink back into the dancing dream.

"Well you should, it's gonna be a hard one." Durham's comment went above Legosi's head and mind as he stared at the wall divide between his and Jack's bunk. After a little moment of catching himself in his mind, he saw Jack looking at him with the ever-lasting worry that a dog always seemed to have over his friends.

"Are you ok?" The Labrador asked, Legosi yawning again.

"Yeah... just tired."

Once the routine of brushing his teeth, using deodorant, and then putting on his uniform he followed the group again, stumbling like a zombie.

They arrived in the cafeteria, the group grabbing their trays and making their way to their table. Legosi rubbed his eyes, his heavy eyelids closing every now and again.

"Suddenly, I heard this faint screaming in front of me, turns out I nearly trampled a squirrel to death."

"You really need glasses," Collot commented on Miguno's story of nearly overseeing a way smaller species, a common occurrence these last couple of days. Legosi picked apart his food, eating while in standby mode.

He blankly peered past the animals in the cafeteria. His vision didn't grab onto anything specific, his carnivore senses bored by the little movement in his peripheral vision.

"Legosi!" The wolf snapped back to the table.

"You said I looked good in glasses, didn't you?" Miguno asked. They never acknowledged his apparent tiredness. In all the years they lived together, tired seemed to be Legosi's default state of being.

"You look mature with them... like you've grown a few inches and gained a year... or maybe two."

"I think you look like a nerd with glasses," Durham interjected, smirking at the hyena. Miguno glanced at him.

"Still, I'd get more girls than you." The group laughed while Legosi took his donut and absent-mindedly began chewing on the soft chocolate-coated bread. Mundane and boring as he liked his life, living in endless passive. That was until it returned.

That thick lovely rose-flavored air of his dreams lay there in the air like a plume of perfume in one of those always recurring commercials, promising to titillate your sense, only this time it was true.

Like controlled by invisible strings, an invisible mages hand moved over his head, raising him from his seat. He walked as if he was gliding through the air, one of the microscopic beings to whom the air was as thick as syrup.

His movement was light, automatic, like floating on a cloud pushed by a breeze. The Image of Lovely reddish brown fur floated in his mind, beautiful and perfect. The world began fading away to become nothing but background noise to the beat of his heart.

"What the hell?"

The smell vanished in the air, replaced by the stinging smell of stress sweat. Blinded by the light of the smell, he had wandered between two fighting carnivores, and with all the swiftness, his lightness had come so, did it dissipate, and gravity made brought him to the ground.

"Just because you're a wolf, you think you can just intrude on our fight, you lanky motherfucker."

"I didn't- I didn't- I-I..." His previously swinging tail hung low, and he started to slouch, making himself smaller.

He felt a soft kick to his leg, the jackal involved in the conflict fed up with his behavior.

"You think you're above us just because you're tall, huh?"

"Maybe we should beat you up instead, you arrogant dick... Come here, I'll go real soft on you." The fox took steps toward him, going into a fighting stance, obviously trying to provoke him.

"I'm sorry, I was distracted, I-I-I"

"Stop talking, you jackass, and show us how strong you are." The Jackal joined his former enemy walking towards Legosi.

My bite force is roughly 300 kilograms, my height is roughly 193 centimeters, and my reach is nearly twice as long as theirs. They are no match against me... how the hell do I get out of a fight?... do I throw a nickel and let them kick me till their satisfied? Do I run away? Do I growl and try to scare them away?... Do I-

"Threatening students with violence is against the rules, you plebeians."

"Shut the fuck up, you smart..." The Fox turned around, his excitement for a fight deflating as he saw Louis stand among the tables In his full uniform. He turned around to Legosi.

"Congrats, you got saved by a herbivore, you wuss." He turned back around to the Deer.

"One of these days someone is gonna have enough of your-"

"Threatening a club president." Louis grabbed a little notebook, noting the offense down with a swift and dexterous hand.

"I hope you enjoy lectures and detention, Samuel... you too, Zachary. Now the two of you go to Admin before I do." He spoke coldly, pocketing his notebook again. His icy and angry gaze seemed to have enough of an effect to kill the enthusiasm but not enough to stop the complaints.

"But we haven't even had breakfast!"

"Do I look like I care? Go. Now!" Louis spoke his final word to the two troublemakers who, with deflated and disgruntled demeanors, wandered out of the Cafeteria.

Louis approached Legosi with the same disappointment as he had looked at the two troublemakers.

"Thanks-"

"You goddamn coward should've used that strong body of yours and knocked some sense into them. There won't always be someone to save you from conflict." Louis turned away from Legosi and marched down and away, girls screaming and gushing from the different tables.

Legosi walked back to his seat with a low-hanging head, sitting back down.

"What the hell was that?" Voss asked the question this time from his little table, the rest of the table asking with the same tone.

"I don't know... I got distracted."

"How can you get even more distracted?" Jack stared at his friend.

Legosi looked over the table, the only thing in his mind being the picture of that lovely dancing Wolfess in the night.

"I don't know..."
