Maddy

As we're sleeping peacefully through the night I hear a knock on the door. I ignore it the first time and then whoever it is keeps knockin

"Baby" I say lightly tappin her arm

"Hmm" she groans not even opening her eyes

"Somebody's at the door" I say and she don't like for me to open the door by myself, especially at night with everything goin on

"What" she says

"Y/N get your ass up and go see whose at the door" I say and she sucks her teeth at me but raises up. She grabs her gun out of the drawer and walks out of the room. I don't hear gun shots or yelling so figure it's all good

"Baeeee" she yells for me

"Yea" I ask comin out of the ion and I see Rue lookin in worst shape then when she told me my ex and my ex best friend were sneakin around

"Oh my God Rue are you ok" I ask and obviously dumb question but I just wanna know

"She almost fell into the apartment when I opened the door" she says

"Rue have you been doin drugs again" I ask and she avoids eye contact and bites the end of her finger "Rue" I say in that motherly tone

"I'm sorry...I-I don't know what's wrong with me. I wan-wanna get better. I just need help" she says completely falling apart and she's been so different since her dad died

"It's ok don't cry it's ok. Can you get me some water" I say and y/n goes and grabs a bottle of water "Lemme call lexi" I add and she stops me

"No-she'll be so disappointed in me. I can't let her down again" she says and that almost breaks my heart

"You want to get better there's nothing disappointing in that. She'll wanna be here for you" I say and she thinks for a moment before letting go

"Here's the water" she says handing it to me

"Drink some of that water and I'll be back" I say because I left my phone in the bedroom. I press Lexi's contact and wait for her to answer. It takes two calls but she answers

"Maddy it's 3 in the morning whatever she did you'll still be mad tomorrow" she says sleepily and I chuckle

"No that's not why I'm callin. It's Rue she's here and she's in bad shape like about to fuckin die" I say

"Oh my God she was just on your doorstep" she says

"Yes was knocking and y/n had to help her inside. She said she wants to get help, I don't know what do" I say

"Ok we're on our way" she says and thank God we need a Lexi in this situation. I leave the bedroom and I see y/n half asleep on the couch

"Go lay back down" I say tappin her leg to wake her

"I'm up" she says like I didn't just catch her slumped over with her arms in her shirt

"Mhm no you're not" I say

"You finna come wit me" she asks

"Lexi and Fez are comin over so we can figure out what to do. I'll be there in a minute" I say and she whines

"Ion like to sleep by myself" she says and aw the criminal cuddler

"Ok it won't be long I promise" I say giving her a kiss

"Ight" she says going to the room and closin the door

"It-it's freezing in here" Rue says shivering and then I notice sweat on her foreheads. This has to be a withdrawal symptom cause how you cold and sweating at the same time
