Kai and Iris never really got along cause Kai was one of the lonely kids and was always in the library meanwhile Iris was one of the popular girls. Well you can see why they didn't get along that well but their relationship is even worse than you think.
And let me explain why they never got along. Their rivalry started from love, they both used to like a girl in their school and they did anything to get her attention. They went from giving her sweet gifts to baking things for her. And after a time both of them were aware that they were racing for her love but neither of them decided to give up.
But the reason why she didn't think anything of the special attention was cause she was already dating someone, Kazuha. They announced this two months after their rivalry started. And they already hated eachother at this point. Kai tried to make it up to Iris but she was still upset and said some bad things to him and Kai obviously didn't like that. So he said it back and they kinda broke into a fight. That's why they also still hate eachother.
Well to the present, their school day just started and Iris bumped into Kai. "Watch were you're going loser." Kai rolled his eyes. "You bumped into me so can you just shut up?" Kai sticked out his tongue while walking away. "What an annoying bitch." Iris rolled her eyes and walked up to Tsu. "You'll never quess who i just saw."
"It's Kai, isn't it?" Tsu asked her. "Yes, unfortunetly." Tsu sighed. "Why don't you two try to get along?" Iris rolled her eyes at her friend. "Never, you'll see me dying before i talk to Kai nice." Iris got annoyed. "Well let's just go to class now and hope that kid isn't there." Tsu raised her eyebrow. "Don't we need to wait for Sock?" "Sock told me that she won't be coming this hour cause she's into therapy with Azzie, made for Scaramouche simps." (Me: y'all better don't attack me for this)
