Ahhhh! It's over omg what. that took hella long and i am SO sorry for the decade-long wait. Trust me, it was just as annoying for me as it was for you. anyways, this is going to be a long-ass a/n so i'll just bold the important parts.

2) TheSugarcubeSaga - WHATTA WEIRDO. first of all, i've read basically everything (i'm pretty sure) that she's ever written and only NOW does she realize it. how dare you, hope. how dare you. but go read "The Selection" because it's also FUCKING awesome. everything is awesome. also one of the best commenters ever i always lol when i read ur comments babe. ily hope

3) frantasticsara - OMG WHAT A HUMBLE HUMAN BEING. Please raise your hand if you've never read "Tug". Now please quickly lower them before I cut off your forefingers and make blogging that much harder for you. STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING. GO READ IT NOW. It's one of my favorite fics of all time and it is so good. also, read her oneshots but like w/ caution because iCry each time tbh. but SARA. ily and i hope u realize just how awesome you are.

4) EVERY-FUCKING-ONE ELSE. - I love you guys SO much for supporting this "oneshot" even though it was like 19805207502378239 words. I'm so grateful for all the support and [hospital] love this has gotten and I'm so super duper happy with it and your guys' response. Thank you for everything, and I really really hope you guys enjoy this last part.

Nancy forced me out of his room.

I mean, I get it. After sending him to surgery, I had somehow wobbled back to his room, my arms wrapped tightly around my torso as if I would fall apart if my arms loosened. In a blur, I had found myself cuddling one of his hospital gowns while staying curled up in the chair. I had felt someone's hands grabbing my arms, practically forcing onto my feet before walking me out of his room.

I didn't put up a fight.

I felt numb. As if I was watching myself from outside my body, I allowed the person to take me where they wanted. My legs moved as if disconnected to my body, and my eyes only observed the pitiful glances people were throwing my way, my mind refusing to process the reason behind their stares.
