Prologue
Cold and bloody is what you'd mostly remember from your past, maybe because when you're tasked to kill, the blood of your victims stains in your hand, you may not be able to see the opaque red fluid on your hands anymore but the feeling of being able to hold somebody else's blood and how you either used your ability or your dagger is still etched at the back of your mind, calling you out everytime you wanted to stop
After one of your dear friends died, you were given an opportunity... an opportunity to leave everything behind and seek for the warm and bright light. Would you have accepted your bandaged friend's plea to come with him to that place? Maybe you did, will there be consequences when you do so? Would you be able to bear the pain of leaving the people who cared and you are caring for in that cold wretched place?
Leaving the Port Mafia without a single trace of your whereabouts but a letter tucked under a lamp of a ginger-haired nightstand, waiting to be opened when the sun had risen and the once dark and starry sky would turn to a much bluer color
That's how you, Y/N L/N, had come to the place where detectives are tasked to save, the complete opposite of your past occupation. Missing your past companions sometimes not knowing that they were devastated to know that you left and what the other contents written on the letter
